@@juliababra Yes, I've been there twice. We rented a small apartment on the square where the fountain and the church are. The city is so full of life, there was a stage set up and they even showed operettas. They rehearsed on stage in normal clothes and it was really interesting how they looked in costume in the evening. The food is also so good, Placinte cu brinse and Papanash. I also ate a great soup with minced meat balls and vegetables. They even have a cable car and a mountain called Schullerau. I saw beautiful orange butterflies there in August. We walked through the forest. I was a little afraid that a bear would come. We also took the slow train to Sinaya. The castle there is a dream in the middle of fields and forest. Like something out of a fairy tale book. Bran Castle is beautiful, but I wouldn't go in again. You're rushed through there so quickly. You can't look at it that quickly, you're outside again. You can't look at anything. It happens so quickly
Nothing to see because you are not looking. and small, no not really but you were walking in a circle - the city is 267.32 km2 and the metro area 5 times that. At 7:15 on your right there is a medieval gate of the city, on your left a high school that's over 170 years old, you go in the direction of the high school for 300 meters, there is a square and on one side of the square there is also a church, in the yard of the church there is the first ever school in the Romanian language, anywhere in the world. Anyway, back to 7:15, in front of you, you turned right, and after turning, on the other side of the street there was one of the bastions of the medieval city and if you go behind it, well that's the fortified medieval wall and at its left, on the hill, there are a couple of towers, Black Tower and White Tower (and ofc the medieval wall was still standing on the other side, towards the mountain). And then there is also a fortress , Cetutuia de Straja, And the oldest church is Biserica Bartolomeu, almost 800 years old. On the mountain with the Brasov sign there are traces of a fortress that was there but was demolished some many hundreds of years ago. Oh and at the top there are a few view points, not just 1 and the one you went to, is not the best one. And the largest mountain/ski resort in Romania is Poiana Brasov, a neighborhood of the city. Anyway, don't do your research on Insta or TT, you are never gonna find anything if you do.
Thank you for sharing
You’re so welcome 🤗🤗🤗
