You can fit two mags in each cell if you stretch them using boiling water and traditionally empty mags, or you can cut out some wooden blocks the same size and shape. Boil your rig insert your mags and then let it dry around the mags.
I do not have this rig, and likely will not replace mine, but I love your mindset. Even sought out this second vid after seeing your first just to watch it and give it a "like." Rock on, my man. 👌🏻
For the admin pouch, I think you can go even cheaper by copying the admin pouch from a p83. Although It wouldn't be practical to add a dangler, expect if it is first sewn, then add the p83 style admin pouch on top
Badass rig setup! I'm planning on getting one of these rigs myself. However, could you theoretically use contact cement (Barge or DAP) instead of shoe goo? Do you think they'd both work the same or?
Good so far! I don't regularly take on/off the gear that's already on it (since it's pretty much setup to how I like it), but the few on/off swaps of gear have shown that the velcro is holding on just fine. Just make sure to thoroughly shoe goo the velcro, especially the corners-as that's theoretically where it'll come apart.
Hello brother a little help for you I was watching country boy prepper and he use a 3/4 buckle to adjust the back strap on his rig watches video hope his help ,GOD BLESS AMERICA FEAR NO ONE BUT GOD OR GODS
At this rate with the money you’ve now put into this project, might as well just buy a condor or other cheap chest rig with all the pockets you need already built in
I've done that as well, however there are very few mag pouches on the market that hold a 7.62x39 magazine well. Chicom rigs happen to hold them beautifully at no additional cost. unlike my Condor OPS rig. The Elite rig would be the exception, but doesn't allow for customization, as everything on it is built-in.
Replace the dump pouch with a radio 👍🏻

Not a bad idea!
Fun project.
Good video 👍
Thanks! Hope you found it helpful.

As long as it's a similar chemical composition as shoe goo, I can't see why it wouldn't work. Give it a shot!
Nice vid.
Great work and video. Excellent Elite Spanker has a weird name but makes some top tier stuff for the price.
Nod to the tune.......Paul is the man !!! Pray for him
He certainly is beloved by all of us. Cancer sucks.
Link for admin pouch?
I tried this simple thing called Google and found it hahaha sorry man.
how has the shoe goo held up on yours? i just did the same to mine and was wondering if i should leave it as is or sew it aswell
Shoe goo is strong asf! Waterproof and you wont have to worry about it losing its grip in high heat 110+ degree weather.
