The elementum knives were very disappointing to me. Mine in particular did not have very good action and every TH-camr out there was raving about how great the action was so it was nice to see you actually say it’s not the greatest. I do really like the size though, i’ve never seen much use for bigger knives unless you do bushing or something like that.
I mean in my opinion the elementum overall is just a okay or slightly good knife. It's never been great in it anyway. Thanks

I've always like the Elementums. I have two already. I wanted the original button lock but didn't like that it didn't have a flipper tab or thumb studs. I can live with this size since I need to keep at or under the 3" for work. This one is definitely going to end up in my pocket.

It has a fair price. I'll probably get one at some point to fill in the collection but will probably like the original button lock better. Does this one absolutely require the flipper tab to deploy the blade?

I went through a bunch of them. Some had side to side, some didn't. None had up and down. I picked a nice tight one.

I have a question about the elementum 2. When the knife is closed in your pocket, is there anything actually holding the knife blade closed? A lock, a detent, anything? This question is specific to the elementum 2.
The answer is like most button locks, the spring is what's holding it in place. The resistance from the spring. Hope that helps. Thank you
Mine had a touch of blade play, but after just a bit of tightening i, it works great....good review!

There's a solid finger width space in front of the flipper to choke up on.

Ugh .... I want to like this knife.... BUT.... it should have been the size of the button lock 1..... guess I'll have to wait for the Civivi Elementum button lock 3.

I am so happy to see it is the original size. I thought the 1st button lock was to big.
Not the original size at all the grip is longer and thicker than on the original. And the blade stock is slightly thicker. It's all by marginal amounts but makes all the difference. Much better than the og elementum or og button lock.

Im disappointed. Been carrying it for about 2 weeks hoping it would grow on me but it kinda sucks.

"A lot of play" and "it is a very good knife" just don't go together...is it good or not? (not being mean but I just want a button lock but can't find one that anyone can agree on and under $150.00...thanks
Yeah that's up to you to decide. The thing about getting a pass around knife in is that I don't adjust on it. My assumption in saying it was a good knife is that I could tighten the pivot enough to take the play out. But I don't know that for sure. Thanks

That's hard to say. It is a loaner knife so I didn't put a lot of pressure on it but this one felt pretty strong for sure. Like a six maybe. Thanks

I like the larger button lock. This one is too small just like the original. I like the first button lock better. It’s larger and more sleek. Locks open and closed. Straight forward.
