Love the seed storage idea by month. Yes!!! What to plant when (and knowing ahead of time so you can start seedlings) is like figuring our a Rubik's cube for my little brain. 😂
8:23 This is a good tip -- for other locations, as well. It's interesting to see your local indigenous calendar. For those of us who live elsewhere, it could be useful make one for our local climates -- either by observations, or by looking up the average temperatures & rainfall for the area.
I'm glad that I found this channel because I'm also in Gippsland Victoria so your information will be relevant to my area. I'm still sorta new to gardening failed one season many years ago planning to try and start again with one of those green plastic greenhouses that you said only lasts a year.
Just a question re the Kmart photo storage box thingy. How would you go about storing seeds per month? If beetroot can be sown 3 months of the year would you buy 3 packets? Or split a packet into smaller packets? I'm just sooooo unimaginative. Thanks.
Those plastic storage containers will break down & become brittle with UV exposure over a few seasons. Then you have a microplastics problem & the bin is not recyclable. Spray any semi translucent plastic with UV protectant or use UV resistant tunnel/greenhouse plastic over a frame. I am still surprised by the lack of small, carryalble UV resistant totes/plant start boxes & domes. There is a market for those.
Six seasons! That makes so much sense. Again. Thank you

I’m going to try the spice shaker idea . Even using sand I tend to get blobs of fine seeds. Thanks

Chaos gardening 😂
Great tips
I buy herbs from the store & propagate them. One herb costs less than $2 and yields multiple plants!!
Do you have to water down the weed feed or just use it Straight
Thanks! Does it matter the type of soil to start my rosemary?

Not a fan of the American pronunciation of oregano.
old style farming/gardening usually outdated and very wasteful tips
