I'm not sure whether to choose this or the Xtool S1 10w. I primarily will be using this for veneer inlays for my woodworking business. I currently use an Xtool D1pro 10w and really need to switch to something with an enclosure, and am already familiar with the Xtool creative space software. Also with the new software update, I am liking the program sooo much more.
What about the exhaust quality? Since the bottom of the machine is that simple to remove and doesnt look sealed, do you have smell or smoke in your workspace?
I can understand to help keep cost down that they didn't go with a 40w but I would never go back to just a 10w. 20w is the best bang for the buck and is the lowest power that I would go to.
in all fairness the dot size is quite good : 0.06*0.04mm, so for 10W we get a power density (irradiance) delivered of 4166.67 W/mm², for the 40W more expensive variant we get a power density (irradiance) delivered of 4444.44 W/mm², and for the 20W we get the lowest power density (irradiance) delivered, at 2500 W/mm². The problem is the lack of a long focus beam. The Visio has autofocus, so it could move down with every pass to cut deeper, I think.
Something that makes me slightly suspicious is that after all this time WeCreate still doesn’t deliver to Europe, is that because they are unable to meet the more rigorous EU quality and safety standards? Can’t be that there is no market there with almost 500 million potential customers. Additionally is the WeCreate finally 100% Lightburn compatible?
I'm new to this laser thing. I'm trying to find something that can do just about everything, engrave, etch and cut. Is there a machine that you can easily interchange different diode heads??
may I suggest something for their product page webpage : add a visible in page link, within the first page load, to the specifications of the machine ... scrolling up and down for 30 seconds trying to find out what the working surface, laser dot size, if it is a long beam (seems not to be) , etc is annoying as hell ! ...
Does wecreate or any laser software work with an iOS tablet or Mac. For that matter, a Chromebook. I am trying to find my best way into the market with least amount of cost.
Basically every laser software can work with Mac, but for iPad, you have to check if the company has a mobile version app, based on what I know, wecreat and xtool have both available. I sold my wecreat vision just last week, I listed it on my Facebook account and some second-hand markets, and it took almost two months to finally sell. I had to let it go for less than half of what I paid, even though I’d only used it for less than a week. Choosing a new brand is the worst choice i have ever made, i would never recommend anyone to choose wecreat, the camera they advertised is the most BS part, not accurate at all, I bought this laser specifically for my on-demand engraving business, when I was engraving a customer’s necklace, the text ended up being way off, and I had to compensate them for the necklace. Honestly, I’m done with the camera on these laser machines-it’s nothing like what they advertise.

Can you engrave thicker material by removing the crumb tray and using, or making, a riser?
I wish this had been out sooner back when I was shopping lasers.
