Aloe Vera contains something called proteolytic enzymes which repairs dead skin cells on the scalp. It also acts as a great conditioner and leaves your hair all smooth and shiny. It promotes hair growth, prevents itching on the scalp, reduces dandruff and conditions your hair. (food.ndtv.com)
Ashwagandha possesses powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which help in keeping the scalp healthy. Ashwagandha powder is a rich source of flavonoids that also possesses fatty acids, glucose, potassium, tannins, and nitrate. Tyrosine, an amino acid present in Ashwagandha stimulates the production of melanin and restrains the loss of melanin in the hair.
It has also been reported to stop postpartum hair loss and often used in shampoos to help improve scalp circulation and provide strength to the hair. The stimulation of the production of sebum encourages healthy hair growth through its stimulation of DHEA.(www.kamaayurve...)
Slippery Elm - Calcium help to strengthen the body and hair.
Amino acids, which are the building blocks of proteins, encourage the growth of strong, healthy hair. They create red blood cells, which in turn deliver nutrients and oxygen to the hair follicles.
Iodine is important in a properly functioning thyroid gland, and an iodine deficiency is a common cause of hair loss among women. According to the University of Michigan Health Systems, hypothyroidism cause by iodine deficiency may result in dry, coarse hair. (www.naturallyc...)
Amal - “Amla or the Indian gooseberry contains lots of essential fatty acids that strengthen hair follicles, giving the hair strength and lustre,” states dermatologist and hair transplant surgeon, Dr Pankaj Chaturvedi.(www.vogue.in)
Nettle - Not only does nettle help in combating hair loss, it also helps in hair re-growth. Nettle leaves are rich in silica and Sulphur. This helps in making hair shinier and healthier. Rinsing hair with nettle extracts and water results in re-growth of lost hair and also helps in restoring the original hair color. (everescents.com.au)

Thank you!!! I have and use most of those herbs except the ashwagandha. I also add fresh aloe because I have a large plant. I can’t say that my hair as grown as a result of the herbs but it’s not hurting either.
