- Studies show that 100% of flexible endoscopes at sites that haven’t been conducting visual inspection have defects, which is why standards and guidelines are calling for visual inspection of every endoscope, every time. In this video, Cori Ofstead, MSPH, walks through common defects you might find on your endoscopes when you begin using lighted magnification.

Would you mind posting the devices and/or setup you use to get these images?
During our studies, we used bench-mounted and hand-held magnifiers provided by Healthmark. Some external images were captured using an M8 Lenovo Android tablet. We also used borescopes from Clarus, Healthmark and Steris (Cantel/Medivators) to capture external images.
