watched this camped middle of no where using starlink
Turn it off and camp FFS
@paulkaiser8834 why? Can camp and fall asleep watching TH-cam or w.e
Doesn't hurt anyone
That's not camping😂 best you can claim is glamping
@@notyouraveragegoldenpotato Because of a cell phone and Starlink?
They are doing themselves, so whats the issue lol
Dude just jealous you have it and are out there in the middle of nowhere. He just drove 15 minutes at 65mph to reply to you twice
You dont need extra exposure due to long wavelengths -- yes they have less energy, but its down to the sensitivity of IR detectors, and the way the detector arrays are read out.. Lots of sensors of that type have serial integration and readout times instead of quick transfer of charge to a readout array, which reduces the time you can take for charge integration.
Resolution is wavelength dependant. Longer wavelength requires larger aperature for same resolution.
I'm worried humans are putting too many satellites without coming up with a plan to clean up the unused space junk
If we send too many without cleaning space junk humans will be stuck on earth without the ability to launch anything
4:16 Simply having the good fortune to grow a small bookstore into a global retail giant does not necessarily equip someone with the skills needed to run a rocket company. As Elon Musk has said, building prototypes is the easy part - manufacturing (and launching) at scale is the real challenge.
LOL! As if that idiot Musk has any special insight that he didn't just uncomprehendingly parrot from people who actually did know what they were doing.
You must be a SX fan boy? Jeff bazos cant build anything, thats why engineers are hired and all the little worker bees under them are hired to do the building. Jeff doesn’t have any aerospace degree as elon does so elon is more envolved in the design department than jeff is.
Jeff does have an engineering degree, just choose not to use it.
@@sgfx no he doesnt have an aerospace degree like I previously said, he has computer science and electrical degree. Because he’s running multiple companies and worth billions and isnt in the office with the engineers helping design stuff, you dont like the guy correct?? Im sure he will take your consideration into account lol
@@sgfx and besides jeff just stepped down from amazon ceo to focus solely on blue origin last year I believe it was. The man clearly isn’t worried about all the little SX fan boys like you brokies always chatting away about how he should do things differently like little school girls anyways hahahahahaha, Blue origin is winning everything and all u can do is cry about it hahahahahahaha. Also read my last comment please, you brokies are so un-observant i dont want you to miss anything hahahahahaha
Awesome video. Thank you.
Satellite internet would be amazing but I'd prefer it as a global international public effort rather than an industry where every other year there's a new massive company trying to cram as many satellites as possible into orbit. Like a disaster would be almost irreversible and we can't draw that line after crossing it.
If there's no incentive to profit, there's no innovation.
@@AlikVolkov suuure
Right, SpaceX has thousands up there already. Amazon now has 4 or 5? They don't have a affordable delivery system. If I were Jeff Bezos, I would team up with SpaceX to develop a dual system, which will keep any anti-trust issues. I would also use other countries as well.
I don't even, I think they only launched two in the last launch. If their space company Blue Origin is anything to go by, I doubt it's going to be viable internet for at least another decade, assuming it's even affordable.
What if one of Starlab’s functions was to use a Canada arm style mechanism to fly near space junk, bring it into the station, package it up with a parachute and heat shield and send it back to Earth to be recycled.
Thumbs up for real.👍🏾
I saw a report today the military was testing star shield the military version of star link
What happened to the other video that got taken down?
The space race turning sifi fans into aerospace fans
I hope Starlab does indeed get their station up by 2028, and that Vast get's theirs up in same time frame. That way, since Axiom space will, by definition, have theirs ready and functioning by ISS decommissioning in 2030, that means that when that happens we will already have three, count them, three functioning space stations with, at the very least, Orbital Reef still to come. More and more and better and better.
Look at Kansas, Wichita to put the plants. Dent astrophysicist Rocketeledyne owner.
Did you want to try that again in English?
Goo goo ga ga
So for satellite able to receive earth signal from space it must had both light and darkness antenna : light to read enscryptred signal in darkness echo or infrared receiver to read light enscaypted signals
Wow
Hey space Race. I was watching a video about SpaceX's Raptor engine. I got part way through it and then it disappeared. What happened?
Aliens.
just hopping all those new rivals satellite aren't going to form an iron net around earth
@6:21 Amazon does not own Blue Origin, Jeff Bezos does.
The ever-increasing amount of satellites that orbit earth will make it ever more dangerous to navigate a path through this "minefield" for any projects that leave earths orbit.
"im sorry, your home is too hot and we will need to charge you higher property taxes on your dwelling..."you know this is where this hotsat monitoring is headed
Whats up with Bezos's eye....cheers.
Jeff tried to stop space x launching satellites now copying space x idea's strange jeff
I can't wait until we can't see any stars at all! I heard at some point Starlink will have 42,000 satellites. That's fricking crazy. They impact viewing and can't help but create hazards in orbit. That's on top of all the visual pollution. It'd be nice if someone would regulate his (their) megalomaniac asses!
Don't we have enough garbage up in space now? We certainly don't need anymore.
It's such a tragedy that NASA is reducing itself to just paying others to design and produce (formerly our) space projects. The soul has been drained from our Space program. Space is no longer all of ours.
Bezos isn't using SpaceX because he's holding a grudge.
It would make him look bad, in multiple ways.
The internet would have a field day.
These goddamn bots
I see none currently
There were two right after this video was posted
They must have been deleted, for I did not see them @@spidscorp4523
US DOD is already hedging against BO non performance with the Star Shieldcontrzct with SpaceX. Eventually BO will consume all their political goodwill and will have to either actually deliver or go back to selling books.
I wish Nasa will make some kind of ISS or Tiangong but for US astronauts
Not sure what you mean. The ISS is for US astronauts.
@@tracyrreedI think he means something only for the United States to use which is super ignorant and selfish.
The space pollution is skyrocketing
More future space junk, yay.
"A new thermal imaging satellite is going to change the way we develop our cities".
Lol. No, it won't.
Aryan huh...😑yeah.
It's pretty crazy that Amazon was smart enough to avoid relying on the ULS Vulcan or their New Glenn and booked on Atlas V, and Dream Chaser was STUPID enough to rely on Vulcan. What a world.
Since Elon has gotten to be such a "princess" about who gets to use Starlink and for what purposes, I can see why the DOD wants to get Amazon up and running. Let's hope they get them up and running. I do not like to see a monopoly. Elon seems to abuse any monopoly power he acquires.
They don't have anyone that themselves to blame 15 years ago SpaceX have 0 falcon 9 lunches to space. And SpaceX will lunched for anyone who will to do it, even for Amazon, just Bezos did not want to do it...
If you Heat Scan Europe, you'll find that their houses are MUCH better at insulation. I have no idea about industrial though. It's just that this "new world" of America is so stuck on 'temporary' over 'quality' and being cheaper means 'getting more' rather than 'better.
so Typical BO gets government subsidy to build its array -- though cant see anything like 3000 into orbit with the launchers thay have available. No way are any of the new rockets (ULA, BO) launch cadence gonna be ramped up enough by then. Maybe we'll see starlink vs kipper orbital dogfights, now i see why Musk has fitted his V2s with powerful 'communications ' Lasers. Comminicate that .. kippers - lol
Kuiper using the 50 year old expensive Atlas 5 is just the most stupid thing i ever heard humanity has done
Havent you heard of SLS yet ?
@@MichaelWinter-ss6lx you mean that one rocket that is also overprized with 2 billion dollars per rocket that isn't reusable ? Yes a joke of a system that is 50 years late.
They cant finush bisnesz hawawezikupunguzia rizki kazi ya rizky ni allah usikuwe na wasiwasi allah ndio mweyekupanga rizkiy
Old news😂😂😂😂
Seriously? Using the name of an anime series to name your project? I hope Elon eats Bezos for breakfast.
I don't think Elon Mush is quite as genius as the Muskies (Musk fans) think he is, but he's much further in intelligence than Bozos. He just throws money at a problem and thinks it'll get him where Musk has gone. Now that's not saying he won't have some decent stuff at the end in the long run, but he's a toddler not quite understanding a puzzle for adults.
Musk is a demonstrably bigger fcuking idiot than Bezos.
Maybe these Rich ahh people should start investing in space junk collection and limitation. Elon Musk is honestly in the lead because SpaceX has reusable rockets.
I was with you there up until you had to put in the Greenie bulshit in there
