Definitely a trim issue. The larger the plane, the more critical it is to set proper takeoff trim. If not using the FMS to determine trim setting, at least use the green "T/O" zone on the trim wheel to approximate. When you hear the engines throttling back a hair on takeoff, that's the FMS doing its job. Engines are regulated to takeoff power, they don't just go pedal to the floor. Additionally, if you want to reduce variables, turn off Auto Throttle Arm.
Btw use the type-specific yoke switch binds for your joystick trim switches, not the generic category-airplanes that control the wheel. Bind "captain's elevator trim" to your button and then "captain's elevator trim neutral" to releasing that same button. Without the neutral-release bind the up/down inputs stick for a couple seconds. It's direct and responsive input.
Sir, I did it the exact same way you did and it worked! I was trying to find videos on how to setup the fmc with the flight plan and building the flight plan and your video was the best one! Thank you so much, I was giving up hope on this sim, I didn't have the problem you did where the plane wants to go nose down, i made it in the air and got vnav and lnav to work so the plane is following the route. Hopefully i can land this thing in a bit. Thank you so much again.
I entered W&B as faithfully as I could, matched EFB MAC within 0.5%. It said set 5 trim... yeah it had full self fly noseoff the runway at double digit knots. Wild! Maybe 15 degrees is not good takeoff flaps? It should be valid.
Same problems here it will not lift always end up crashing after takeoff ! Trim wheel still broken thrust is broken this plane needs a big update then all is good ! Im looking forward to pmdg 737 max !
Dude...I've been racking my brain trying to get the VOR/ILS info turned on, only to find out (thanks to your video) that the brightness of those screens is just all the way down 🤦♂ thanks!
Yes, very similar problems. Have to abort A/P and recover it manually. It is also very hit and miss whether VNAV and/ or LNAV work. I find it very disappointing. Would like to see a slow walk through from someone that has mastered a Programmed flight including ils landing. 😢
Thank you for viewing.

does anyone else 737 nose goes up and down when climbing or hands on flying? and the trim changes
I had that at one point... Im not flying the Max till its fixed
Same

I can see it changed to climb power setting before you were off the runway

Im glad my video was helpful!!
Also you stab trim is 3 degrees. You should be around 5-6. Enter you cg% in the takeoff ref page and it should give you the correct setting.

I watched another video. The trim on this plane is messed up. Needs to be fixed.
The flaps need to be at 5 degrees and toga needs to be active. This will give you the lift you need.
Yea it was all done
Others are having the same issue.. the plane needs to be updated
Set the trim before take off helps
Never set trim in the PMDG... but there settings are better since everything imports over to the FMC.

Glad I'm not the only one
Bro i just wish pmdg would release they 737, it doesn't even have to be fully done haha
b737 max doing 737max stuff

Not a problem glad to have helped

Im trying to get there but this plane needs a major update
