Auto attack click move set to A on your keyboard, that way you auto attack will target the closest target to your cursor!
Go to settings hotkeys, player movement select auto attack move click on A!

At about 9:53, why does LS say he'd messed up in freezing? Isn't it the scope of freezing to have more casters of the enemy's than yours?
1 more caster for enemy is not enough and will not freeze, it will slow push towards the enemy
Your reinforcements arriving faster because closer proximity of the wave to ur turret outweighs the extra minion the enemy has

You generally want to have 4 minions, preferably caster minions, to maintain a freeze. One of the casters died, so the freeze would break and slow push to the enemy lane.
i mean yes you can freeze here but you can't do this all the time. At 3:30 for example jax goes to ward and loses minion xp which is terrible for a melee he has to be the same lv or above to keep all inning. He should have traded one of his 3 potions and heatlh just to get the wave in at all costs, it simple resets then and hes fine.

is there a rule of thumb when its best to freeze and when to shove?
LordMasterKing Not exactly, but you should shove when you want to deny them xp/gold after they base, when you want to roam to another lane or into the jungle, and when you want to base. Shoving is also a good way to reset the lane state. Freezing is a bit more complicated and you just kinda have to feel it out, but it is strong in almost all situations. If you are ahead in lane, freezing allows you to deny you laner cs/xp while threatening an all in if the over extended for cs. If you are behind it allows to you farm safely near your tower. Freezing is also good to set up a gank for you jungler when they go up to farm, it’s also good when you are playing weak side as you cannot get dove because the minions are not under tower but you cannot get ganked as you are pretty much under your tower. Always be asking yourself “what should I be doing with the wave in this situation” the more you ask yourself that the more you force yourself to actually think and in turn you will start to see similar situation reoccurring in your games and know how to manage the wave as a result. There are a lot of good wave management guides out there on TH-cam (sorry to lazy to link but just look up wave management league and pick your favorite, they all good over the same concepts). Wave management is one of the most important things in laning phase and you can straight up when a lane just off superior wave management. Good luck in solo queue!
What the video is showing is to freeze when you can and shove when you can’t.
Unless you are relatively high elo, the rule of thumb is a little too complex to be considering under the pressure of lane. But considerations include : champion strength at particular levels/item advantages, teleport/ignite advantage, rift priority, jungle diff, where the each teams junglers are, whether dragon is coming up, midlane priority, chase potential, gold amount and probably alot more. Youre looking to take advantage of all those tiny differences, and in high elo those tiny differences are huge. The rule of thumb is to consider as many of those as possible and decide whether its better to have the wave pushed or not. For example, if the enemy has no chase potential on you, the dragons coming up, your midlane has prio and the enemy just based - you wanna hard shove that for dragon pressure, or maybe your jungler has rift and you can 3 man that down mid etc etc. The more you play the more you will subconsciously take note of these things. This video illustrates the even more complex side of it such as considering all those things FOR the enemy too. Like when jax wanted him to hit him, any player including myself would do it, but they knew that was what jax wanted to take advantage off, so you deny him that opportunity. Sorry it's not too helpful but maybe it will help your mindset towards the laning phase. I promise you, if you perfect your macro thinking like this you can compete in platinum easily with even bronze level mechanics.

Missed one key point - you get aggro if you AA Jax... but not if you Q him. You should be doing 'safe' Qs on Jax as much as possible and you will actually have kill potential when the Jax gets frustrated. If you play like the guy does in the video you will win a decent amount of games, but one simple tweak to do the above and you will win significantly more. Additionally, you will become a better player much quicker doing this and pushing your limits, rather than just playing safe and never learning them.
You do take aggro when you use Q on him. Look @13:23

If it takes longer for his minions to get there that means the enemy minions aren't taking the extra damage as soon which he wanted for the freeze.

btw if you freeze after tier 1 down, I will literally roam and destroy the rest of your team in a number advantage. That is why in soloq, its better to create pressure and push instead of a freeze if the enemy is ms even trade a tower if your lane goes elsewhere.
I dont think u understand that this is because he is Vlad. If he was playing someone like quinn than the wave management would be different. Yeah, you can roam but that pressure would amount to nothing since vlad is slowly scaling and destroys everyone late game no matter how fed or how much pressure u put.

You can´t really freeze against ranged champions, unless you are really ahead and can 1 shot them. They can easily push the wave into your tower.

He's making CS and safety the main goal. Enemy jg is rengar and u have funnel so poking -> pushing -> rengar ganks/zoned off xp+CS

Temptation Skating gaining aggro pushes your wave up (it makes opposing minions attack u instead of ur wave) which is the opposite of his goal, freezing.
Temptation Skating creeps Agro on you mean that their not attacking your creeps while yours are attacking theirs. Therefore enemy creeps die faster -> your lane pushes
Tried it three times, lost all three games, when I would freeze they would just almost always force me back in turret by forcing a fight making me have to use my pots and need to cs under tower, if I had no pots it was almost always a tower dive with jg and then just repeat that process for the whole game and you have yourself a 1/10 vlad that is completely useless don't know what I did wrong if anyone has an idea, I would like to hear it
I think the best thing to do is to watch your replays and see why you lose those trades. But you shouldn't always be freezing. If you watch some of his other videos sometimes you need to shove and play aggressive. You are freezing to gain small advantages over time or make your enemy laner vulnerable to a gank.
Vlad actually does take some skill so if your playing him for the first time you will lose

Brazukaa Then you're not doing it correctly, freezing against a ranged champ is very different from freezing with a bruiser like jax in this clip
