    Todd, I love your pin videos. You have definitely brought me into the world of pinball. You have made me appreciate them so much. Until about a year ago, I thought pins were outdated and boring. I've watched hundreds of your videos since then. I am fascinated with every one. Now I realize so much goes into these machines. They are works of art. I almost got the wife convinced to get one :) You are a true artist and a hero in the gaming world and a celebrity in my home. Thanks for keeping this era alive and well.

      +Kurt Mauer Wow Kurt! Thanks for such a wonderful comment...you made my day! Glad you have enjoyed the videos...we intend to keep churning them out too! We try different things to keep them as fresh as possible...but the purpose of many of the videos, is in fact to show the new owners the games they are getting before we ship them! We are thrilled so man y other enjoy them...even though they tend to be a little technical and repetitious with what we show that we do behind the glass of the machine. Keep watching and commenting! Todd

    My favorite pinball machine ever!!! I used to sit in a little arcade, back in 1981 or 82, and play for hours. I loved that it had multiple balls whizzing around at the same time.

    When Todd removed the backglass, I saw a credits display. I also noticed the gaps around the scoring display modules. Were there once mechanical scoring wheels there? Was this machine originally EM, and later changed?

    • @tntamusements
      @tntamusements  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +belfry43 Its just the design of the lightboard that holds the panels. Stern last produced a mechanical in 1977.

    Todd I hate to ask so many questions. I had no problem with sound. I added a remote battery(a little cleaning and soldering) put it back together. Battery works great, but now no sound at start up or during game, just the voice prompts. What did I do?

      +DarkShadowRage2 I really do try to get them all involved. We are all working so hard, and then to stop everything and film the videos...and squeeze in stuff, with the continuous phone calls and the usual activities of this business, especially when you are working on 15 machines at once.....you miss some opportunities for using them more! But most of the guys have learned how to use the camera pretty well...as it gets thrust into their hands to get something else filmed!

      +TNT Amusements Inc haha, all your videos are so informative, and i really do enjoy seeing inside those arcade machines and seeing how they work. One day I will buy a cab from you when...i save up enough money!

      @@tntamusements No,no... I meant the place kitty-corner to it, a small restaurant across the intersection, had one. I remember it well because of the artwork on the backglass.

    If the first clock's motor just needs rivets to hold it onto the clock frame, why not rivet it in place and be done?

    • @tntamusements
      @tntamusements  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Michael Quattrocchi Well, I suppose I could...but I do not want to damage it where a qualified clock person could not fix it!

    • @SagePatrynXX
      @SagePatrynXX 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Michael Quattrocchi dad had his old heirloom clock replaced. guts and all. $150 repair for basically what the clockmaker said it'd be just as good as getting a $50 one. It doesn't work anymore even after the repair. even shiffting it side to side won't stay that way. Not that anyone misses the HOURLY chimes.

      @tntamusements  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      It replaced an older low def video from early years! We reuse numbers, since TH-cam allows a maximum of 2000 videos per channel. I will run out in 4 years of video space!

    get rid of the clocks who knows someday I'll send you or Frank probably frank. he's the PCB board geek. a Raspberry Pi 2 1 gb ram probably bare bones ($35) yeah noobs is like an extra $5. More to see if he can actually get some pinball games to run off it. or some other project. I actually push this to former students I knew growing up .. it's fun for all ages but hey one student/friend I've known since 1987, his eldest wants to get Windows 10 to run on it. by all means i hope he does :) I'm running into a power problem on my new board. Could send the old model and I know that one ran Adams Family. , sure some say why..... 1. it's small 2. it takes less power to run it. That should be a good thing. not many quad core 32bit 1 gb ram computers out there for $35 provided you have an OS, monitor (hdmi) keyboard mouse internet oh and some run using a phone/tablet. True there are variants Beaglebone being the main one think Arduino (sp) is another, in theory probably could get something to run the gears off the back of that clock at certain times of the day. since advanced users use solder with it. :P Yes I do like antiques , not to get that CED running with a hard to find needle. that would make my day. last one I saw was $50. as they haven't made the diamond tipped needles in nearly 3 decades eh.. it really is a needle in a haystack :D
