i want my brother to take his program when he gets done with his 14 year sentence fed time. we need to educate non violent inmates to have all the resources necessary to rehabilitate getting back to being a productive member of society.
We are far behind in education when the inmates are really the most curious and willing to be educated. props to larry

Always great to see Larry Lawton doing interviews. I have become good friends with Larry and have been fortunate enough to be involved in one of his videos. I played one of the GTA missions he reviewed. Larry is a great guy, and I am glad to have gotten to know him.

He asked me to send him one of my playthroughs of the mission he wanted to review, which I did. You are right that I didn't appear in person, but it was still a privilege to have him ask me to do this because of our friendship.
Larry is that dude! First video I watched of his was how to boil water in prison! Ever since than I've been hooked to him!
The difference between this guy and a lot of the other prison youtubers is he doesn't just sit and tell stories and claim how rough it is in there, he actually creates reform programs and does what he can to change this broken system, I have a lot of respect for this guy
Love Larry's videos, he's got such an amazing story and can connect with people from all different backgrounds. Dude should be a mayor or something.

Awesome book if you are looking for a solid read, he has video essays of it on his channel but the book is super well written
52:30 Adam mentions if drugs were legal you'd have too many marketing programs promoting dangerous products. I think he's wrong though because cigarettes are legal but have been banned from tv/radio/etc. advertising & marketing in the US. So they could do the same with any other "drug".

Such a cool dude. I went through one of the programs he put together for at risk youth while i was in highschool. It was at a golfing country club in a newer part of the county. Though i still think golf is pretty gay, it was a great time and one of the first times i saw where hard work and drive will take you. Nice to see somebody whos been through the shit, make it out, and not only give back but keep some people outta the shit and inspire them to do more with their life.

Adam you should look into having Jay Williams from the "Jay Williams Let's Live Life" TH-cam channel.
I really think you would dig him and I really think that people would get into his journey in life. He grew up in the streets and was in and out of jail and finally ended up doing a 10-piece.
He used that time to get his s*** together and realize what life is all about and came out to be a family man running his own construction company.
Dude is a hell of a Storyteller and you can tell he's 100 with it

He caught a charge for it in the penitentiary.. which is insane if you think about. In the penitentiary they won’t even letcha yank your crank in your own cell from time to time!? They don’t want you having ANY joy in your life..

You don’t legalize all drugs you legalize the safest form of drugs instead of heroin or fent you legalize oxy and have people receive education for the safe way to take them and offer a place to stay while using the drugs if you can go to cvs for oxy how many people are going to be on fent

Love Larry ! Great interview as usual. The only thing I this agree is the drugs part. Some drugs are beneficial for mental health more then your classic anti depressants. Currently in Quebec, Canada, Health Canada approved the first patient for psilocybin to treat depression.
