I would too. Sadly, it would be turned into mindless politically correct crap. Jake would be replaced by a chick in a tank top with a gun on her hip strutting around acting tough. Haven't we seen enough of that? Leave good shows alone so we can remember them as they were.
It would be scary if Bascom came in and explained "synthetic money". "We invented a way for computers to send and receive virtual currency in the form of bits. We call it "bitcoin". Still working on the name"
The scnene 55-56 minutes in when Sid and Jake have to hack that computer is so damn funny to me. It's nice to see a hero that isnt a complete Mary Sue have no clue what they are doing even when givin detailed instructions. I just realized I like Jake as a character because he's actually written like a real person (most of the time).
@Paya Chinglish there was no "p" back then... 320x200x256 meant 320x200 pixels and the last number was the number of colors. 256 colors takes one unsigned byte (256 possibilities) of video memory, so 320x200 bytes was the memory needed for TV resolution. Most TV shows were produced on Amiga "Video Toasters" and I never got into programming those.
Not many folk with pure English accents these days. It is sadly discouraged in public schools rather than being taught to everyone. Just another brick in the dumbing down wall I'm afraid.
I watched these when they originally aired on TV and liked them then. I do wish you would have labeled them with an episode number I am watching them out of order,
The first one was okay, the second one was much better, but this one just didn't work. A lot of dumb plot ideas, premises, and dialog. And I thought Jake was exonerated, what's with the droid perpetuating Jake's frame-up? Jake should have said, "Re-programmed, huh? You were the one who iced those cops and set me up for the fall; one more bedtime story out of you, and its dream-time. How 'bout I tuck you in now -- just like I did last time. Ready? Or would you like a drink of water first?"
41:50... "It's been around since the riots of '09, when they overthrew old King James." Geeze, I missed that one in the news, lol! Queen Elizabeth has been top dog in England since before my parents were born! Lol!
As a British person I found this to be quite a corny episode, soon as they arrived in London I was like okay so they're in London, there's the black taxi, only a matter of seconds until the red bus... THERE'S the red bus! - which was terribly cliché but OK, then proceeded to appear in every shot 3 times in quick succession 🤣
It's all about the bottom dollar. Who cares if the building smells a lil dank when we saved 730 credits a week from not paying for exhaust fees and the ladder wasnt supposed to be there in the first place, so it being wood saves us from liability since clearly we would use metal. *Clearly*.
camelot was not a fairy tale or legend. Avalon is now called angelsea in north wales. the ring of forts along the river seperating avalon from the rest of wales is camelot. Avalon was the celtic university run by druids who were sceintists, healers and teachers not priests. The head of the university was called merlin. It was a title not a name bit like the pope. There was a rex Artur often called king Arthur by mistake. Rex in gailic means elected one not king as celts had democracy thousands of years before the Romans showed up. Artur was the elected leader of the Crymru tribe, Its rare to have a male leader in celtic tribes as it was usualy a woman as were the generals of the armies.
@@cliffbird5016 the story of Camelot, ie King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table had anything but a happy ending....betrayal followed by a bloody civil war that left everyone dead...that is what the poster appears to be referring to....

Have watched two of these so far. Really enjoyed watching them. Highly recommend for science fiction fans.
They really held up over the years. They were pretty high tech for tv back then, quite a bit ahead of it's time.
I love tekwar tv show 😍 ❤ I wish it will come back on the air again

Tekwar
Teklords
Teklab
Tekjustice
Then the short-lived TV series.
Loved all the TekWar movies and the TV series. Of course the books too still gotta track two of them down.
thanks for posting its a shame that the series never made it past a full season
TekWar had two seasons right after the last movie.
I love tekwar
haven't seen these old cabs for a while now. I guess they have a comeback in the future :P

I liked these movies. SUE ME! if you think different. These were fun, light stuff. I never thought they were going to be all that deep.
Thanks for uploading!
TekLab, Tekwar and the series are actually very good. Way to go Bill Shatner for mixing Trek and Tj Hooker
This is indeed tj hooker in 23rd century
these are just as good as the books!
there's always room for 2 more at the table
Back in those days, all "TV" was 320x200 resolution.

Interesting that Micheal York did another King Arthur themed story in an episode of Babylon 5, around the time this aired.

This movie was such a waste. It should've continued the Sonny Hokori story. Maybe give his sister, Tora another chapter.

Sorry I missed this series it is tell me interesting in fast paced thank you very much

If only the streets of london were as clean as they make them out to be on this !!. I havent seen a clean street anywhere here for the last 54 years
Got to agree with you my friend but i'll top it by 8 years more.
+garry williams Not a brown face in sight either.
They are not in London
You would have thought we would see an English flag.
Enjoyed the movie. Thanks.
did anyone else notice in the last scene the bikes left on the american side of the street?
These are pretty good and this one, just fun.
That was a good show
"Prince Albert". Hilarious.
The royal family recycles names... There was a lot of debate about naming the new young royals Arthur. They decided against in the end.
I thought it came in a can. lol
This was a lot different from the book. Tristan instead of Arthur 2. Danny Cardigan wasn't kidnapped.
I loved 😍 this show I hated when it went off the air

The Roundheads vs the Royalists again. Stuarts and the Sword Excaliber? I'm surprised not to hear Cromwell's name. Interesting
51:58. Only the Americans would think of a ventilation system connected to a sewer. Or for that matter a wooden ladder in a damp environment.
@Paul Ross Not true. History is distorted bullshit anyway.
Y'all talkin smack about Americans? Jokes on you, because this series was written by a Canadian! Get your facts straight, morons.

Arthur was a bloodyminded horrorshow. Mordred was a far lesser evil, vain but mostly harmless. It was a happy ending for the people.
Shatner wrote that script while sitting on the toilet, and without using his hands.
With chuck Norris in his back pocket.
That's quite a talent! 😆😆😆
