How simplistic is that? I picked up a 'W' plate CB250N about two years ago from an alleged mate, I've paid way to much for it, considering its condition and the fact that it's no longer running (£1,780) I bought a carburettor kit for both carb's, but think that a float fell of reinstalling them, as a puddle of petrol appered under the bike within minutes of turning the fuel tap on. But at least it now starts and runs on idle, but it bogs down when you twist the throttle! Any ideas on what causes this symptom? It was doing the same before I reset/refurbished the carb's.
Without seeing the vehicle it's hard to say but normally I'd say that it is dirty carbs. Does it rev up at all? If it doesn't, I'd take carbs off again as they have to be so clean. I'd also check forair leaks in the inlet rubbers.
Very helpful ,Thankyou 👍
Glad it was helpful!
