This was so lovely to watch, and I glad you loved my Due South Yarn so much! Having done a tragic amount of research on Due South's streaming availability, the only place it's available is You Tube. I think we need a petition to bring it back 😂. Loving the Boneyard Sweater plan and it reminded me I have that pattern in my stash somewhere..... Enjoy the retreat!
The box sets on eBay etc have gone up loads recently. I'm going to choose to believe that's because of this yarn club single handedly prompting a resurgence of the fandom 😂
I hope you have a great retreat and the train journey goes smoothly. I decided to look up flights to Norfolk to visit my cousin, I live in South Wales. I thought it was strange that there was one change over and when I checked it was in Amsterdam! Cardiff or Bristol airport (I can't remember which one) to Amsterdam to Norfolk. Crazy. I look forward to hearing all about your adventure. X
What should you knit next?....How about the four seasons suit from squidknits. I love the long sleeve sweater/jumper and your Bendigo 4ply red yarn would be gorgeous. I assume your a member of Squid school of Knitting because you knitted the Rose street cardigan. I have a lot of luxury 4ply from Bendigo and its wonderful!! The red would be lovely with navy blue buttons and then knit a skirt in navy blue which would be so versatile with other jumpers. It would be stunning. 😍 I dont really like the skeleton sweater. Definitely to morbid for me.
Ahh yes!!! I love Sydney’s new four season’s suit. I’ve knitted the last skirt she designed and it’s one of my fav knits so I deff want to do the four seasons at some point ❤️ thanks for the suggestion!
@@knittingwithbetty Sidney's first skirt pattern was beautiful. I don't know what color you made your skirt from but Sidney is wearing the burgundy skirt with the Pink long sleeved jumper. If you made a gray skirt the red Bendigo 4ply yarn jumper would look fabulous gray buttons.
Hi. New subscriber here. I like the aesthetics of your channel and find the content interesting. However, I am having difficulty hearing you. Mostly the volume is fine but at times I can’t understand what you’re saying because the volume has dipped too low.
Are you listening through headphones or on just on a device? Headphones might help boost the volume a wee bit. I did have issues in the first episode but the following ones (eps. 2-4) I used a microphone so there shouldn’t be issues my end 🤔. All else fails you could put the subtitles on. Let me know how you get on!
Hello! And welcome to my knitty world! I do have insta but it’s for my Etsy shop selling vintage patterns - /SittingPrettyKnits . I’m really rubbish at posting though 🤣. I probably post more knitting related stuff on the community tab here 🧶🤗

Search for Sun-glo pattern book 62 for some bulkier 1940s knits. It seems Australia didn't have much in the way of wool rationing in the 1940s. 👍
Great tip! I wondered why Aussie patterns were always so awesome during this period 💕 thanks lovely (I’m working my way through your awesome videos)
@@knittingwithbetty I'm working my way through yours too 🌸
