Allah (God) have sent many revelations prior to Quran to many Prophets he sent for the guidance and enlightenment of humanity. Among these many books most are lost. But some mentioned in the Quran are Torah which was revealed to Musa (Moses) PBUH, Zabur (Psalms) which was revealed to Daud (David) PBUH and Injeel (Gospel) which was revealed to Isa (Jesus) PBUH. But unfortunately none of these books survived in their original form today. Only fragments of their literature copied by various scribes are included in the Bible and there are many versions of the texts. Also there are many lost books of the Bible like Dead Sea Scrolls, Book of Enoch, Gospel of Mary, Philip etc which were written by the human scribes too and were not inherently divine. These are not included in canonical mainstream Bible. Also the name of Idrees AS (Enoch) is not mentioned at all because it may have happened all very long ago we have no complete or exact memory of it. It all happened in a vast era of humanity we call now as Prehistory it means that it's before the written or recorded history so it's very hard to pin point the details. Also many of these stories are not exactly what happened but many medieval Muslim writers collected and compiled different sources and speculated. Only things that are mentioned in Quran and Sahih (Authentic) Hadith can be legitimate and what is recorded in Scientific and historical data, for the rest we cannot be sure we can only compile the sources and speculate. First of all guys, all we can confirm about hazrat Idrees is what's in the Quran where he has been confirmed to be a true and righteous prophet of Allah SWT. Secondly, the book of Enoch that is associated with him is not confirmed by the Quran, so we cannot confirm everything that the book of Enoch tells us about, there might be truth there but there might be also alot of curruption there as well because we don't know who and when this information was written down and by whom. Allah (God) have sent many revelations prior to Quran to many Prophets he sent for the guidance and enlightenment of humanity. Among these many books most are lost. But some mentioned in the Quran are Torah which was revealed to Musa (Moses) PBUH, Zabur (Psalms) which was revealed to Daud (David) PBUH and Injeel (Gospel) which was revealed to Isa (Jesus) PBUH. But unfortunately none of these books survived in their original form today. Only fragments of their literature copied by various scribes are included in the Bible and there are many versions of the texts. Also there are many lost books of the Bible like Dead Sea Scrolls, Book of Enoch, Gospel of Mary, Philip etc which were written by the human scribes too and were not inherently divine. These are not included in canonical mainstream Bible.
Also the name of Idrees AS (Enoch) is not mentioned at all because it may have happened all very long ago we have no complete or exact memory of it. It all happened in a vast era of humanity we call now as Prehistory it means that it's before the written or recorded history so it's very hard to pin point the details. Also many of these stories are not exactly what happened but many medieval Muslim writers collected and compiled different sources and speculated. Only things that are mentioned in Quran and Sahih (Authentic) Hadith can be legitimate and what is recorded in Scientific and historical data, for the rest we cannot be sure we can only compile the sources and speculate. First of all guys, all we can confirm about hazrat Idrees is what's in the Quran where he has been confirmed to be a true and righteous prophet of Allah SWT.
Secondly, the book of Enoch that is associated with him is not confirmed by the Quran, so we cannot confirm everything that the book of Enoch tells us about, there might be truth there but there might be also alot of curruption there as well because we don't know who and when this information was written down and by whom.
