im still dissapointed he got the seat instead of luke too ay. he does look like an alright driver but the personality is generic merican asf IMO. Plus RTR seems to have contract obligations doin demo after demo at random spots across USA which would get old quick. Family life would be minimal surely...
I think Ben is a good prospect driver, I don't think he was ready to go to the big leagues. That being said his dad owns a Ford dealership and I think Vaughn sells RTR mustangs through it, so I get why he was brought on I just don't think he is the right driver for that team. Luke can drive anything u give him and would have done better in seeding bracket IMO.

I would go rear fire wall to seal up the cabin then triangle cut outs in the roof to suck in air for the radiator.

The ZU looks killer from behind as it slides round corners. Like a stagea on steroids this is the coolest build on the net at the moment.

As a fellow gu patrol owner this is sick as hell something I've wanted todo for a long time but using the gq/gu chassis really need to add a staino snorkle and some comp style bar work awesome build man and can't wait to see what else you have in store for it
The GZ patrol appears to like to party, so a party patrol. Engine swap idea, rd28, yes a diesiel but i think they were from early patrols and if you know a guy i think you can make a rb25 head fit for all the petrol turbo goodness.
Love my rd patrol to bad I done the bottom end .you recon I should rebuild. Is it worth it?

Cut the C pillar out and just have one big side piece of perspex, would kinda give it chevy blazer vibes. And would probably help seal it up better

Roof scoop, window Ideas have a look at a few middy patrol builds and comp trucks. One gq had a clean roof duct like your talking about 🙌

Even cooler than I thought it was going to be, it would be so awesome to see this with fresh paint and a set of tandems with the spare on the back!!!
Hide the c pillars, either do a big tinted side window or sheet it up solid like a panel van. Make it look a like a stretched shorty.

I'd say vent the rad from the side windows instead of the roof. You'll get bugger all airflow coming in from the top without a scoop, especially when this thing will spend most of its time sideways. So long as it is well sealed so the lead car doesn't fill the cab with smoke.
reminds me of an rc drifter, pop the shell off and onto another chassis 😅
Be cool if you could make one big side rear window so it looks more like a factory 2 door GU just longer.
It looks like a stubby patrol, but it is a 370. So parts are available that need replacing and the suspension and acronym & geometry is there. I can't wait to see if it gets a motor swap in the future because of available mounts. 2J, LS, K20, SR20. RB?? skyline!!!

ZU is turning out sick. Regards to rear window, cut out the pillar between and do a full Perspex sheet so it’d look like the GU SWB cabs!
I think the 370Patrol or the ZeePatrol is a great name for it!

THE SNORKEL NEEDS A RETURN!! It made the car seem more like a slammed 4wd rather than a standard station wagon (Im not gonna say what kind of station wagon.. A Forester) with a patrol front grafted on. Even a staino and if it’s hooked up it’d be even funnier

You need to roll up some chicken wire the size of a wheel and cover it with a patrol or Nissan wheel cover for the rear door
So it’s got the classic patrol look but no extra weight on the arse end
