It got to the point when I was in highschool, I started saying “that’s so hetero” because the teachers weren’t stopping them from saying “that’s so gay”. And when I came out, my class found out I had a gf and literally tried to get me to rate their attractiveness and got offended when I told them I found none of them attractive because of the people they were.
I’m gay and just because I like girls doesn’t mean I’m going to go around fishing trying to look for a super hot girl and then like them because they’re pretty
I do see a lot of pretty girls, but I don’t immediately crush on them. In my view it’s not really right because they could be mean/a bad person/etc. So always get to know someone first before you judge them

GAY STORY
So, when I was in 7th grade, I decided to come out in my classes. I knew people would take it ok(since there were several people I knew that were gay, and they were never bullied)
And in all my classes, everyone was perfectly fine with it, but there was one person that didnt treat me badly(as in bullying or harassment), but she didnt treat me normally.
So, she was in my theater class and was very popular,snobby and well known. Witch basically means we had no contact with eachother at all.
But the day I came out she was so shocked that I was gay. Suddenly she sat with me more and asked me weird questions like "You dont look gay" and "Can you be my gay bff?"and "Are you dating a girl" or, "I know someone who's gay, maybe I can set yall up?" and, "Do you like girls cause you cant find a nice guy?"and even, "How do you not find guys attractive. They're so damn hot!(yes, she actually said that to my face)"
And one day I just had enough and just said "I like girls the same way you like guys, back off!"
She looked at me shocked and stopped talking to me ever since.
I know that might've came off rude, but hey, it was a victory for me!
