I'm staying at my grandmothers house this summer and she awesomely said I could paint the room I'm stayin in! I think I'm gonna go for this. Wonderful video thank you!!💕🙏🏼
Well done! As a muralist for many years, I know finishing a project in a day is no small feat, even with help. Just a tip, if you bring the tree trunk around to the next wall it'll make the corner disappear.
You have helped me SO much! :) Thank you!!! :) Im an Artist who has never painted on a larger scale and Ive just been offered a job to paint two large trailers. They need to have a lot of concepts blended into one whole and I can see a way through now thanks to you both :) Watching you work in such a chilled, cool way made me feel so much better. I tend to be too hard and judge myself when I should just let it flow. Much love and my genuine thanks xx
I'm preparing to make my first mural for my bedroom and seeing the kind of equipment you used was really helpful. Also I was stressed about messing it up, but hey there's always more paint to put on top :D Worst case scenario I cover it all and start over. I guess mural painting is sort of scary because for the first two hours it feels like you're doing the thing your parents told you Never To Do, haha. Anyway, I'm anxiously excited for this project. :)
I like your sense of calm , in synch with spontaneity , the sheer joy you exude when you are in the process. It’s inspiring and a beautiful experience to just watch you doing it . Thank You ❤Blessings.
Very nice. My ears perked right upT when you said Santa Cruz Mountains. I was raised in Santa Cruz, live in WA State, but miss my "real home"...I like the way you spaced it out, building up instead of just starting at one corner....
Though I'm about to do an outside mural for the first time ever as a commissioned piece - there's some tips in this video that are going to be really useful... even seeing some of the ways you stored the paints and what kind of trays you used as a palette and that sort of thing.... I love art - there's always something new to learn in it! My dream is to become a full time artist with her own art studio/store so that people can see me working on new art while they browse the store at already made ones. I'm having to do so much research for this project for my client. I know her from church so I want her to be happy with what I do at the end of it... Its a mountain/river in a field type scene which I love painting so I'm hoping and praying it turns out well! Afterall... not only do I enjoy art, but I paint pictures to fill people with joy and peace and perhaps even inspire them in some way or just to feel good during tough times. The saying "a picture's worth 1000 words" Is only half right.... a picture is worth MORE than a thousand words. Its like the saying for music - when words fail, music speaks.... when words fail, art speaks.
Absolutely loved the way you explain as you go doing and applying details and colours. Loved how you make it looks so simple.. I might even give it a try at my daughter's room :D
I love the painters technique and the way she guided you through her painting as she brought the mural to life! Its certainly an inspiration for the rest of us to try our hand at it. Thank you!
Awesome job!!!! Love your style and light/fun personality !! I will be doing a mural in a few days and you taught me some new tricks !! Thanks for sharing
you have an amazing gift of talent iv'e wanted to do something like this on my back yard timber clad shed amongst the trees so it blends with nature definitely got some good tips from this video
About 2 1/2 minutes into the video she says she uses Benjamin Moore Aura paints. :) www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/interior-exterior-paints-stains/product-catalog/awip/aura-interior-paint?gclid=Cj0KCQjw0YD4BRD2ARIsAHwmKVnfRz5UQm99-0qjmuL3V0T8zkjn-Xi9zq30Np-KN94vpCO4VgMZUdIaApkJEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
Very pleasant tutorial, informative and some quick shortcut methods. I am starting to expand into mural art and this will come in handy. Thanks Morgan Mural Studios.
Oh Morgan, you're so much fun! I instantly subscribed about 7 minutes in when you were building the sky peaking through the leaves of the tree. Making mistakes and getting frustrated with pieces is such a hard things for some artists, especially myself. You turned that moment into such a sweet/real connection between you and the work at hand! So relatable, and everything still looks just as beautiful as it did before the marks. Bob Ross!
This is exactly what I needed. I'm currently pregnant and if it's a girl I'm modeling the room after the Earth Kingdom from Avatar the Last Airbender! This was PERFECT! Thank you so much!!!
Hi there! Beautiful mural~ I’ve picked up quite a few tips…thank you! Question on your acrylic ‘pallet’, is that a plastic muffin container? Thanks again for sharing your gorgeous work!!
You're so chill and playful. I love it! Is it ok to paint wall murals in just acrylics? Will it hold up ok? I'm on a low budget but have tons of acrylic paints.
@@s.holmes4364 Around 2 1/2 minutes into the video she says she uses Golden brand acrylics: www.goldenpaints.com/ wish I could tag Andrea but it won't let me. ?
A good trick that will make you're vegetation appear more realistic (though it will also take much longer to execute correctly) is to have some of the same tones in both gloss/semi gloss as well as eggshell/matte. And use the higher gloss paint in the leaves/vegetation that's coming towards you and the dull as it goes away from you. Have to be careful though because to do it right, you have to make sure you use both on leaves Nd veg on which you are going to see parts of their top and parts of their bottom... in nature, nearly every piece of vegetation is dull and waxy on its bottom/underside and glossy on its top.... doing this correctly though will really leave alot of people in awe as the attention to detail will make it look more "real" than a "mural" at that point ...along with adding realistic texture and actual 3D effects by manipulating and scraping paint up with a palette knife/knives
This is an awesome idea! One way to do this quickly would be to mix up the colors and then just use a sheen additive, like a matte additive to change the sheen. But this is a cool idea I will try it!

The meadow flowers are beautiful 😍🥰
Amazing... I love your art,..now, I'm really inspired doing my own mural..
Yay!!!🎉🎉🎉
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL LADIES !!!
Do you put anything over it to protect it? You did a beautiful job
Thanks! No, for interior, I don't. The paints are no-VOC.
I did not apply a varnish. These paints are durable, and if the wall is gouged, I want to be able to come and touch it up easily.
@@muralsbymorgan can I hire you to do this in my bed room by chance ?
I'm binge-watching your channel. You are so talented and skilled! It's wonderful to see the beautiful murals you created.

Great job and nice of you to do the video.

This is awesome..what sort of paint that you use? Is it the normal wall paint or acrylic for canvas?
A little of both. Base coat is wall paint, the details are acrylic.
Nice work!
hermoso trabajo, las amo, muy lindo.
What type of colour you use here ? Your painting is awesome
I love it, awesome
Can you put down a list of the kind of paints you used? Also, should I use any medium for acrylics so they blend smoothly and don't dry out very soon?
Stunning absolutely beautiful!!
AMAZING!!! ❤
Hi! This is an amazing design! Can I ask if you skim coat your wall before you paint?
So beautiful!
Thanks this was great!!
which colour use in this painting
do you guys use regular paint or acrylics? that was not clear as you mention you had acrylic too
