Some places people believe that you should be quiet and not interrupt a performance unless otherwise instructed i.e when they picked up the bridge. They applauded at the end so I believe they liked it. It was a relatively small crowd so I can see how personal everyone must have felt

It's about recording Gavin's performance, not about filming a live gig somewhere, because then they would have done that. So stop bitching on that crowd, they have to stick to the the rules. They're having a good time, so should you!

It's AOL Sessions. I think the purpose of it was to observe the talent I have no idea. They should have moved more. That room seemed so small to move around though. :P
It depends on who is filming, and what they ask the audience to do. On TV/video movements look bigger, so sometimes when doing things like this they prefer to have audience members not as active as it may be too distracting and can actually take away from the performance as it is seen on TV/Video.
Gavin DeGraw is so underrated, just cause he's not "perfect", barely any singer's can sing live just like they're songs. And he killed it.
