It's a brand new vehicle and already a little bit of squeaks here and there, specially on the central console. Give it 2 years of driving, catching some sun/heat on those materials and it'll be squeaking a lot. I have a bmw, can tell you that. But it's a general problem today in every brand.
I’m starting to notice a pattern with the interior build quality of German cars. A hierarchy, almost. Audi is in 1st place in this category. Switches feel excellent, creaks and rattles are generally kept quiet, and material choices are good. BMW would be tied with Audi if it weren’t for the switches. Mercedes is in a distant last place. There is no reason a $50,000-$75,000 car should be built that poorly.
