I noticed in my travels around While visiting my son and family in Maine that there are quite a few old cemeteries close to the roads. I drove from Ellsworth to Calais one day and saw quite a few. Even though they appeared very old, they were well kept.

Kat, there is something about a cemetery like that. It’s a bit like going inside an old Church. There is an atmosphere there - peaceful and tranquil and somehow very relaxing. Loved this short film. Hope you’re doing well Kat.

Good morning Mary, This is one of my favorite cemeteries. I was working on the family ancestry the day I visited and found some of the ancestors final resting places. I have visited some cemeteries though, and they’ve not been well taken care of. It saddens me too. I grew up hearing church bells on the hour as well, and when I heard these go off, I knew I had to get it in the video. Those bells ringing bring me back to better days. Sending you much love.
