A commentator (Ian Smith from New Zealand) was recently raving about how big a 6 was as it was going out of the stadium. Then he shouts, "It's hit my car, it's hit my car".
Interesting fact: South African cricket player from the 80/90’s, Adrian Kuiper, once hit a ball out of Newlands cricket ground, and there is a train station newer to it, and the ball actually flew into a passing train. He is The original Slogger in South African cricket and gave birth to players like lance klusener and even Ab de Villiers True story
In the early 1960s my father was on duty as a nursing officer for the St John's Ambulance Brigade at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground for one of the test matches. He parked his car in the car park at the side of the stadium, which he had a pass for. During the game, a ball was hit out of the ground and smashed through the window of his car. The people in charge of the game. arranged for the repair of the car. He still though had the ball, which he sold to a collector for fifty pounds. Quite a lot of money back in those days.
2:23 is the biggest six hitten in the cricket history! That was hitten by a Pakistani All Rounder Shahid Khan Afridi know as Shahid Afridi against South Africa and that was 158 meters long!
Hi! I'm new here! I only found your channel earlier this year (I think in Jan or Feb ?), after searching for rugby reactions, and I loved your personality/enthusiasm so much I watched all your other videos and subscribed; whilst hoping you'd make a return at some point! And today - yay! You have! :) Well done/good luck for your exam results :)
@@AvgAm whats good bro. If you like, i can suggest some new other cricket videos for you to react to soon. Keep being yourself with your awesome sports personality.
@@AvgAm Hell yeah the Caribbean guys (cricket players) have alot of that sports power skills in them, like the west indies for example. Average American bro, you do a cricket reaction video of you going to a cricket match stadium watching cricket.
@@AvgAm Cricket batsman players can hit the ball with such power that it goes high in the air and out of the stadium just like with baseball batters that hit a homerun ball that the ball goes out of the stadium
It's easy to hit the ball far, since the cricket pitch is relatively to the centre of the infield of the baseball stadium. It's easy to hit a six since the boundary is only the height of a rope with bordings of about 6", maybe less . But if you want to launch it onto the roof then out of the stadium? That's probably more difficult.
the person did a mistake the #14 six was the biggest six ever in cricket by shahid afridi of 158 meters and he is from pakistan and he is known for hitting sixes
To demonstrate the difficulty: Eden Park in Kingsland, Auckland, is the smallest international stadium in the world. Yet: Nobody can hit the ball so far out of the stadium, that it landed in and around Kingsland Train Station.
Average cricketer, I've hit 2 balls 120m the 1st was a bigger and better shot. The 2nd was more satisfying as the bowler was sledging me after I was 58 from 32 balls calling me a hack,
The ranking was wrong top 4 out five were listed below 8 and sixes in small stadiums were listed as the biggest and number 1 Gale Afridi those guys are Famous for enormous hits.
Just over fifty years ago, Garfield (Gary) Sobers knocked six sixs from one over. I believe three of them were out of the ground, although it was not a large stadium. th-cam.com/video/KZUVL3SqqZo/w-d-xo.html

A commentator (Ian Smith from New Zealand) was recently raving about how big a 6 was as it was going out of the stadium. Then he shouts, "It's hit my car, it's hit my car".
Edit. Didn't realise that was in this list (I'd paused part of the way through after Rex mentioned hitting cars earlier) but there it is was at #7.
Afridi six was 158M
4:11 Melbourne Cricket Ground is the biggest stadium in terms of dimensions, so it's easier to run 4 runs than getting the ball out of the stadium.
If someone can hit a six out of MCG, he will be considered as a giant rather a human 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Its a big task to hit a six in the second tier of MCG 😅😅😅😅😅
U can hit six but not 100+ meters six
But, that's Brisbane

These people have unreal bats that cost a lot of money so even shots with less power can go really far
Our coach would give us free sodas if we could break a school window with a six.
Furthest confirmed baseball home run was 575 feet while Furthest confirmed Cricket 6 was 518 feet for a comparison
