For fast bowlers, if one side of the ball is more shiny than the other, the ball can swing in the air which is basically the science to some of the cool deliveries you saw. Sometimes if the ball land on the seam on an angle it can move after bouncing as well.
@silverrahul that is how reverse swing works but early on with a new ball you have to provide backspin and pressure difference on one side for the ball to swing.

IIRC - Swing is achieved by keeping one side of the ball shiny, whilst the other gets rough. Air moves faster over the shiny side so there's a pressure differential that, like a wing, causes movement through the air. God knows how Reverse Swing works though.
