You could say that it was the start of futuristic cods but if you look at the game it was amazing. It didn't have anything wrong with it in terms of multiplayer and campaign. It followed the campaign from bo1 and even made a branching storyline that added replay value. Multiplayer was great too, no overpowered guns, great maps and everything was balanced properly. Only downside was the amount of hackers other than that bo2 sits with the greatest cods of all time.
RIP Call of Duty series. MW2 was the last game of this franchise for me. Every game after that is shitty. They release a game per year now and one is worse than the other. The storyline is written by the director's dog, the death of the main character after MW2 has now become a cliche in CoD. Too bad Activision think its fans to be retarded and overprice the games too. But they might be right because people still buy their games. In 2014. When Half Life 2: Deathmatch which came out 10 years earlier has a better community, gameplay and graphics, it is time to stop ruining a franchise that started out so well, Activision.
Isaac Tanti I am saying the first Cod were the only good ones. But no, as far as the new ones are concerned, I have only played Ghosts (instant sell a day later) and BO
Damian Jessie im not talking about the single player story mode, im taljing about competitive clan wars... yes i admit it that i liked the single player.. but the best two cods in online playing were cod2 and cod4.. no perks, no weapin attachments, no kill streak rewards, NO HACKS, and the best part is that you could get ranked and compete agains other teams all over the world... this was all free like 10 years ago..now its just a legend
MW2s perk and weapon attachment system was fine, I don't see your problem. The only buzzkill is the over-reliance people have with the auto-aiming system.
Isaac Tanti best cods were; cod 1, cod mw 1 and 2, cod black ops and at least world at war. Best was world at war, it was a most real atmosphere war in the history of games
