I hope that we get a K'aresh-zone during the ethereal patch with an argus-like portal somewhere underground. Not a teleporter to the Zone but a big tear that we can just fly through and suddenly, we're in space.
Yessss they proved they can do that with the emerald dream! OOOORRRRR how cool would it be if they designed a tunnel like the zaralek caverns tunnel, and gave it special effects to make it look like you’re literally flying through the void 🤯🤯🤯
@@xackbellegaming3491 Imagine the final part of Kharazan. You go up some stairs and when exiting on the other side you are suddenly on a rock in the middle of space. And when you look back, you don't see the other side of the wall but endless space.
This sounds amusing, but I also kinda hope that Bliz is just dropping red herrings into the assets giving things crazy names to mess with people's heads. And - if they're not? They so should.
yeah I honestly don't know why they wouldn't name items something like 1hand_raid1 or even just a string of numbers that only Blizz employees would know what they mean
I just want to say, if we're not going to get an ethereal allied race, we better get full ethereal cloth, mail, and plate sets to go with the rogue/leather set in 11.0.
9:56 That's possible considering that apparently according to his own short story, "Trade Secrets of a Trade Prince" before becoming a trade prince, Gallywix was a "big goblin in the Trade Coalition" though in Tazavesh he somehow still has the title of trade prince in spite of no longer running a cartel.
Its 2030, the world is ravaged by nuclear wars and ridden with mutated flesh eating ghouls... but Taliesin and Evitel are still sponsored by Squarespace.
Crazy shit Idea: Karesh is actually Azeroth from the Future! What if it already happened and Locuswalker is the individual trying to prevent it by maanipulating the past while the light is obsessed with the one true timeline similar to a time variant authority from Loki. He who remains might be locustwalker.
I am loving everything about the War Within, the aesthetic, the lore, and genuinely I’m really excited for Delves! However what scares me is underground and void overload. I personally actually love the underground aesthetic but the way everyone else is talking about it has me concerned. 😬😬
I leveled a new goblin character in MoP remix for this goblin raid. Not sure how much of the datamining will hold true, but the Emerald Dream warglaive did.
Wasn't sure about the expansion because of the seeming Alliance focus, but hearing that Goblins play a bigger part in the Campaign and that there might be a whole Goblin patch makes me somewhat excited :)
I'm fine with future expansions following the content cycle of Dragonflight, with more smaller patches here and there, however Dragonflight does have the fewest number of raid bosses of any expansion. I would have liked a big epic raid to tie things off. In my opinion, the Infinite Dragonflight dungeon should have been a raid as it felt like a fairly rushed conclusion to that story.
When Ian announce the .1 and .2 patches of legion, it’s because we went to two whole places that needed to be raids, so there was no point in trying to hide them.
7:11 NGL I forgot Gazlowe was in WoW. I really need to play the Horde BfA story because I had no idea Gallywix left the horde with Sylvanis and never returned save for a cameo in Tazavesh, the Veiled Market. Gazlowe taking over the Bilgewater Cartel does beg the question of the fate of the Steamwheedle Cartel though.
They're a neutral faction in the lore and control a not insignificant area of territory in EK and Kalimdor. Gadgetzan for example isn't just a tiny backwater, it's a real proper thriving port city
Did you maybe find it? I’d like to incorporate in my own videos but can’t seem to get from where is from. Even an expansion would really help to narrow it down.
If the new "norm" is the same patch cadence just completely cuting out the "fated" season to go into a new xpac that would be fun (but it would also mean I would basically never be able to take a break from WoW because there's always something going on. I would likely end up quitting from burnout anyways lol) Being able to put the game down for a couple months at the end of the xpac has felt nice.
The patch cadence for an 18 month expansion is a great idea, just cut the fated/awakened season out entirely. Hope they can pull it off. (BTW I do think that they've already telegraphed this: half the new dungeons are in the first M+ season, the other half will obviously be in the second, and the final season in 11.2 should be all eight.)
Ethereals had such a good chance of being made a new playable race back in Legion when Mrs Void Windrunner and the Locus-Walker cropped up saying she stayed with a group of Ethereals in the void.
I honestly don’t mind the season 4 “awakened” seasons. Good opportunity to grab some awesome tmog gear and feel a bit OP. Nice reward for all the grinding all expac long. For everything else In Metzen I trust!
After seeing an Evitel only video, I gotta say she needs her own full-length weekly reset episodes. No offense, we love you Tali, but she's got more pull when not interrupted by your yammering 😂. ✌🏻💜
A side note on a tinker class... I could totally see the tinker gems of MoP remix being ways to trial New mechanics for their eventual class. I'm thinking a heal spec based off of harnessing void or light energies to grant effects similar to the Holy Martyr, Vindication, and Warmth gems; a Tank spec based off of gems like Grounding, Lightning Rod, and Enkindle, with a Fire focused damage based off of explosives. Perhaps a damage spec based off of electricity and gems like Arcanist's Edge and a lightning themed Victory Fire.
I agree with 11.1 Undermine and 11.2 Karesh, I think this will flow well with the story. Dragonflight will be 637 days long (20 months and 29 days), making it the shortest WoW expansion. Previous shortest were: WoD at 656 days, Cata 658 days, and BC 667 days. With this I think the next 3 expansions will be similar in length to DF, and I don't think they will cut out season 4. Season 4 provides too many benefits including: 1) Opportunity to add expansion round out and transitional content. 2) A break from progression grind and a time to just chill out and do a victory lap, maybe finish achieves or other expansion features. 3) Retail down time to test other game modes or test alpha/beta for new expansion. 4) A buffer window for the next expansion that they can expand or shorten based on the state of the upcoming expansion.
If Blizz throws us all off by introducing the Tinker class in a .1 patch, I might actually die from excitement. I've been waiting for that class for ages, and TWW from what I've seen so far seems like the most perfect place to do it since Mechagon in BfA.
I don't know if I agree on Karesh as a zone/area for 11.2, primarily because the Worldsoul Saga really doesn't have to be constrained to Azeroth. BC and WoD for instance both took place almost entirely off-world. Personally, I think VoidRaid 11.2 is going to be Xal'Atath (yes I got her name wrong, I'm not used to spelling it yet) attempting to bring Dimensius to Azeroth via Khaz Algar (I think that's the name for the underground realm of TWW as a whole) and likely failing with Dimensius possibly being a boss in the 11.2 raid. As we know, in Warcraft lore, an entity from another dimension cannot actually be killed unless in their home dimension. This would give us a good story hook for creating a dimensional portal from Azeroth to Karesh to defeat Dimensius on his home turf.
It's titled EtherealRaid specifically, so I doubt it'll just be about Xal's shenanigans. We know Midnight is at least starting in Quel'Thalas, and The Last Titan in Northrend.
This would be a good time to add the Protectorate as a rep faction, them being the ethereals we aided in defeating the sliver of Dimensius in Netherstorm. Plus they outright hate the Ethereum, the ethereals who began turning to the Void in TBC, and tried again in Legion, so they would be an obvious pick for an allied force!
Tali, i beg you i have been farming the bmah for 5 months now, can you ask whenever you get the chance if there is going to be a rework on it? botting in the bmah is kind of getting out of hand.
I think that if they stick to a 6 month +- season structure and cut the fated/awakened season we can have a new expansion every 18 months, but even if they make a fated season, they really shouldn't make it last 4 month like the current one, 3 at most, we can have a 21 months between expansions. It's still shorter then 2 years. I think, though, the best solution would be to cut one month from each season, making each season 5 months, 15 in total + 3 from a fated season, and bahm!, we're back to an 18 month schedule.
Goblin raid sets up tinkerer class. confirmed. In all seriousness I hope the goblin raid for 11.1 setups why we go to Kareesh in 11.2. Does Xal need something from the goblins?
I wish Karesh to be the main place of an expansion. I love Etherials and would like to explore their story and culture more deeply than in just one patch
So a lot of people criticized the Zaralek Cavern for feeling pointless in the overall narrative of the expansion and Blizzard is like "so we will make a goblin patch". I don't mean to hate on Goblins or whatever, I'm just hoping that this time it will be better integrated to the overall expansion story, if they are really going for it
Also ethereals are interesting…they became pure arcane beings but someone how they are also able to become void infused. Does that overtake the arcane or combined them? For void and titan/arcane being so at ends with each other seems off that pure arcane beings can absorb void 🤔
I don't understand the obsession for every race for being able to be every class. I'm not a huge lore nerd or anything like that but it would be kind of "immersion breaking" or something if it would happen. In some cases it would also be kinda ridiculous like lightforged shadow priests or warlocks...? Undead druids? Ehh...
Blizzard has said that Megadungeons are "mini raids", and i doubt goblins have the real "zone/world ending threat" that other bosses can impose. Even u take Sarksreth seriously cuz of his Void interactions....so i think goblin stuff its gonna be a Megadungeon
The last two megadungeons were about world ending threats, DotI especially. Likewise, raids don't have to be about worldending threats, they're just the A-plot, like Battle of Dazar'Alor. A goblin raid could have involvement from some other shadowy forces. Iridikron sending out feelers and roadblocks, maybe?
In my opinion they don't need to make the expansions to come out faster. I don't know why they insist on doing that. I think making sure they pace the expansion enough to do its job narratively and the big content patches is necessary. They don't need to rush things and I wish they'd listen.
I think any ethereal heavy expansion without playable etherals will end up a disappointment for many players. It is hard to see how they could be playable, but I think it'd be worth it to try with how excited everyone is for...taller rocky dwarves and all.
I wanna see Undermine real bad, but I don't see how a goblin raid furthers the Worldsoul Saga primary story, the way major patch raids have consistently done (especially Legion onward). It feels more like a side story, disconnected from the core void harbingering that ol Xally is doing. I hope they don't shoehorn it in, but man I wanna see Undermine.
I don't care for Goblins at all, but if they give us a highly interactive island experience like the Gnome Island patch in BFA I'd love it (totally blanking on the name). Goblins are meh, but their tech esthetic is unique and it would be cool to see what they come up with.
I still feel like the Broker-Ethereal connection should have ben explored at some point... to have them just be two things that are basically the same and not be related feels dumb to me.
Current expansions have more-or-less copied old expansion formulas and improved upon their concept, like how tracking Neltharion in Zaralek Caverns has a vague "Hunting Deathwing in Cataclysm" feel to it. In that same sense, I think it's been enough time since Legion to copy the "go to another planet" formula that going to Argus had and frankly I would love to see it. I have been eager for more Ethereal content & lore. It also makes sense for them to want to help us not make the same mistakes they did.
I want K'aresh to be it's own expansion. A Patch just seem to be kind of less. I want the return of good old outlands experience but with a different world with new playable race like ethereals that start at level 1 instead of 10.
Unfortunately Tali only speaks Common so he can't see the real weapon ID for what it is. It's not Goblin Raid...but rather gobl inra ID which is a "Deez nuts" joke in Nerubian.
Yeah holding the mic mount like that doesn't work very well :P Love that you're changing it up though! But holding just the mic might work better. Althought his might not be the mic for it tbh :D
Did you guys talk about how big a spoiler something is and be responsible about not spoiling it in the video until an appropriate time with warning, but spoil it blatantly in the title *again* for the 2nd time this expansion? Don't get me wrong, I'm one of the spoiler-munchers, but all that effort and good habits are wasted when you put the spoilers *in the video title!* That's literally the one part of the video people will see even if they're trying to *avoid* spoilers! Seriously, someone trying to avoid spoilers would have to actively tell TH-cam to stop recommending them your videos to not see that title.
If they want to do shorter expansions, great!, but then drop the price of the expansion. Or get rid of the expansion purchase price and accept this is a live service and we're already paying the sub for.
As a goblin enjoyer, I think pushing the race even deeper into the wacky tech gimmick by adding a tinker class would enforce one dimensionality. I don't like the fact that every major goblin character is a tech guy when this is a fantasy game. Goblins are super well-suited to being rogues, warlocks, scrappy ruffian warriors etc. but every time they pop up it's another mech gimmick. We need more fantasy and less sci-fi.
Watching Tali swing that very obviously filled cup of coffee around scares me.
All I did was watch the stupid cup because of this lol
Tali asmr
Really living that goblin "it'll be fine, the worst that will happen is we'll explode" life
Tali you guys should do an episode about how many dragon flight predictions you got right. I’d like to see top 5 correct predictions and top 5 whiffs.
This is a great video idea! 💡 I hope they do it.
I hope that we get a K'aresh-zone during the ethereal patch with an argus-like portal somewhere underground. Not a teleporter to the Zone but a big tear that we can just fly through and suddenly, we're in space.
Yessss they proved they can do that with the emerald dream! OOOORRRRR how cool would it be if they designed a tunnel like the zaralek caverns tunnel, and gave it special effects to make it look like you’re literally flying through the void 🤯🤯🤯
what if the crystal we see change from light to void becomes the portal which would explain why there is a barrer preventing us from flying there
I'm looking at you Caverns of Time!
@@xackbellegaming3491 Imagine the final part of Kharazan. You go up some stairs and when exiting on the other side you are suddenly on a rock in the middle of space. And when you look back, you don't see the other side of the wall but endless space.
Goblin stuff? I'm back baby!
Seriously maybe the best race in WoW. I always have the most fun doing quests that are associated some way with goblins.
The cup waving around…. that’s fun
Ka'resh as 11.2 open zone makes a lot of sense, to avoid people complaining about being underground for the entire expansion
What's wrong with being underground the whole expansion? It's time for them to be creative.
The undermine is NOT the last unreleased existing zone to date, there is also tel'abim and Balor.
I want to see those banana trees!
Some like underground goblin raid would be sick if it channeled 80s dark fantasy vibes
Anything Goblin is kinda insta win in my book 😂👍🏻
80s dark fantasy. Have you been to spires of arak? 😅
Just when I think to myself “man.. we really ARE seeing a Whole Lot Less of Tali&Evi” they go and drop 2 videos back to back! You guys are awesome
I just want to say, if we're not going to get an ethereal allied race, we better get full ethereal cloth, mail, and plate sets to go with the rogue/leather set in 11.0.
So to just look like a mummy? Because without their ethereal body that's exactly what they would look like.
Thanks for not warning that you’d spoil squarespace layouts
I hope The goblin raid tier sets are themed after the raid like vault of the incarnates so we can have scrap metal mechanized craziness armor sets

Makes me wonder what Xal's ties to K'aresh and the Ethereals are. And how that patch will lead directly into Midnight...

Season 4 provides too many benefits including:
1) Opportunity to add expansion round out and transitional content.
Why is the R in War in the War Within so long? None of the other letters are long and I don't think they have done that in other expansions.
Anyone know the OST playing at 13:41 ? It’s so good I need to find it 😭
It's actually music from tiragarde sound in bfa but I always use it for void stuff :)

Am I hearing it right that the Outer Wilds OST is playing in the background?!

Lot of weird clicking in the audio. I don't think that mic is coping with being waved around very well
Actually I like the end of an expansion not to be to short, it gives me time to finish stuff, like farming old expansions mounts.
9:06 Dinohattan LOL
If true then expect motherload in M+ along goblin raid, and triumvirate with ethereal raid

I'm still of the standpoint they're always underdelivering until they actually reach the correct decimal before the 'expansion' update
"If you don't want spoilers, don't be a dick and click off this video (with a clickbait thumbnail that you've already read)!!"
When will you be at gamescom?

this all sounds GREAT!
I'll get as fed up with purple after this expansion as I was sick of Fel green after Legion. But in a good way :D

Any chance one of these is the mega dungeon?
Very high chance. I think one mega per expansion is the standard at this point
Undermine as a Mechagon would be more interesting than an Undermine raid, certainly.
My bet would be that Undermine is gonna be a megadungeon
Awesome video Tali!!
This is the first time I did not enjoy a wild Evitel popping out of nowhere to tell me about square space!

In that same sense, I think it's been enough time since Legion to copy the "go to another planet" formula that going to Argus had and frankly I would love to see it. I have been eager for more Ethereal content & lore. It also makes sense for them to want to help us not make the same mistakes they did.
I’m sold. Sounds pretty convincing.
I want K'aresh to be it's own expansion. A Patch just seem to be kind of less. I want the return of good old outlands experience but with a different world with new playable race like ethereals that start at level 1 instead of 10.
I wish Blizzard would learn to keep this sort of thing hidden better
Unfortunately Tali only speaks Common so he can't see the real weapon ID for what it is. It's not Goblin Raid...but rather gobl inra ID which is a "Deez nuts" joke in Nerubian.
Are the guys on holidays content seems to be really quiet recently?
I'm one excited void elf main player
Please Blizzard. Playable Ethereals. Please make it happen. Holy fuck, that would be a hell of a way to end the expansion and lead into Midnight.
Yeah holding the mic mount like that doesn't work very well :P
Love that you're changing it up though! But holding just the mic might work better. Althought his might not be the mic for it tbh :D
Someone make Paladin or warrior named Goblinslayer for the goblin raid
