I obviously don't think he's perfect, holes in his grappling/wrestling have been seen, they are clearly there. I understand the questioning of his motivation at times. Movie roles, calling for constant title shots. With all that being said I still believe in him and his potential! What do you think? ☘

He can be champ once Aspinall retires .

    I still believe.
If Gane has million fans, then I'm one of them.
If Gane has one fan, then I'm THAT ONE.
If Gane has no fans, that means I'm dead

He just needs to add the wrestling, and he was invited to learn all Khabib's knowledge, type in Gane invited by Khabib, you will find clips. Bro if Gane went there or goes there regularly, Aspinall better get ready.

I think Gane could give Tom a very tough time on the feet, he’s the best striker by far at HW and won’t get one shot easily on the feet like most HWs. I’d love Volkov to beat Gane in their rematch at 308 due to the win streak he’s on, but Aspinall vs Gane for the undisputed would be fire

lol no he wouldn't. Aspinall would absolutely smash him

Aspinall is as fast if not faster. And he has something Gane don’t and that is power. They both move really well. So it’s basically kicks with negative dmg vs power that could knock anyone out with every single shot. Yee I take Aspinall on the feet all day…

I’m French so I listen to some of our French-language podcasts, etc. And I know for a fact that he’s been grinding the grappling and wrestling. Also, he did have a bit loss of interest in the sport due to the backlash he got from French fans due to his losses. People really turned on him and the French can be particularly vicious in their hate. I think Volkov is in the prime of his career right now, and it’s going to be a tough fight, but I think Gane still takes it.
Also, in my opinion, if Aspinall doesn’t take Gane out in the first two rounds, Gane takes it. Unless Aspinall goes on a Dricus du Plessis or Sean Brady-esque reversal of the poor cardio take, he seems to gas-out quickly. Gane does not. He has proven five hard rounds of cardio and I’d see him getting a late finish or 48-47/49-46 win.

Gane isn't French. Cope harder. I'm more French than Gane, and I am American with 25% French DNA

I don’t see him ever beating Aspinall. He got out wrestled by Francis just imagine what Aspinall would do. And on the feet Aspinall has the better boxing and power. Gane lacks power and grappling to be competitive as-well as bad fight IQ(pulls leg lock in the 5th round against Francis when he could have maintained top control and ride out a decision win or try to finish on top). No hunger, no motivation. He is inactive. I’m sorry if I’m being harsh but this is all true what I’m saying. He is super talented but talent alone is never going to get you to the top. I thought he had potential to be champion when he was on the rise but I don’t see it all anymore.

@@coltizz Although id favor Tom I’m not ruling it out. Here’s why, Aspinall has better boxing and power but I’d expect Gane to dictate the range way better than Tom’s past opponents. Gane to me has the kickboxing advantage which would translate well into a MMA fight. Gane’s fight IQ has looked questionable but he may learn. Aspinall made similar mistakes in cage warriors when he lost. Jumping leg locks when unnecessary, Aspinall has improved but I’d be very interested to see him go a little longer in a fight. I also don’t think his wrestling is a massive advantage vs Gane. It’s an advantage, but I think his jiu jitsu is the real problem. We will see if he could get Gane down. I believe Jones is better at takedowns compared to Tom. I also have questions about his motivation as well, but we can’t definitively say he has no hunger, we don’t know how hard he trains and how seriously he takes the sport. I give him a chance because of his striking and still some unknowns about Tom’s game.

There is a big chance Aspinall does Gane quickly on the ground like he did Volkov unless Gane massively improved his takedown defense

Gane is another Kevin Lee. Top athlete, but lacks mentality. He will never cross that line. His biggest scalp was a decision victory over Volkov. Aspinal smoked him, Blaydes and Pavlovich in less than 6 minutes combined.

Gane outclassed Volkov for 5 rounds which is the same impressive in my opinion considering the power difference between aspinall and Gane and outclassing someone at their own game is more impressive than beating them at their weakness and Volkovs grappling/wrestling isn’t that good

@@JoeHinton-r2o or you could say he is so one dimensional he could not take the fight to a place where he can finish it. A limp decision victory is nowhere near as impressive as a finish.

@@alexbrown975 beating someone at their own game is more impressive in my opinion that’s what made Jon jones wins more impressive and fair enough you could say he’s one dimensional but he is relatively new to the sport as said in the video so I think he will be coming into the Volkov 2 fight with something to prove and will win easily and maybe get the finish over 5rounds

@@JoeHinton-r2o Jones beat a variety of fighters at their own game. Not just strikers. Gane is not that guy. Ngannou literally laid on him and won 🤣 He was expected to beat Volkov and he did it in the only way he could. By out pointing him. Yawn! His head isn't in the game and he acts entitled despite beating nobody significant. He gets Dana privilege because he wants that French market. I hope he beats Volkov just so Aspinal can add another name to the list. Au revoir.
