Just a tip! Maybe worth mentioning removing any resin before turning the blades, this will help them in alignment and safety. This can easily be done using parrafin and oil or simply scraping. Hope this helps.
Hey you guys are great, order parts from you guys all the time… but one suggestion, I think you should update this video and describe how to calibrate the blades - the planner you're using comes with a small plastic jig that you use to space the card bide blades appropriately… anyways thanks for the videos, sincerely, a carpenter from California
what about the single edge sharpenable blades? those mini blades are too weak for all the heavy framing planing i do.they shatter when hitting a nail and become trash.
Useful video. I bought a Black & Decker BD711 recently with no blades. Got some new blades but the steel plate that has a runner strip has strip facing outward. Tried reversing but blade won't clamp. Can't see how the blade is secured. Tried using an old blade on the strip with face edge facing inward knowing it wrong by your video., and it snapped immediately. Scratching my head on this one. Any ideas?
Hey I am a power tool tech/service tech. I'm working on a kp0800 and have to disassemble the metal part of the housing with the pulleys..how do I get the large pulley off to pull it apart?
Can you show how to change the belt on one of these.i got a black and decker and had to soak the belt in boiling water to get it to stretch.dont know if I am missing something.
Very Good. I haven't flipped my blades on the Bosch so I guess I don't need to buy anything yet. thanks (Hopefully they are double sided-haven't looked yet)

I replaced the blades on my planer (same model as the one in the video) and now the stinking thing won't plane. I have tried adjusting the depth and no matter what I do it isn't taking anything off. Would love any advice you can give. THANKS!
@ScotsFurian if you are so wonderful, why don't you make an instructional video instead of sounding off at someone who is at least off his ass trying?? Put up or shut up !
This is the ONE thing I really appreciate the computer for... thank you ..I needed this help on this... :) God bless!!!

How can i get Ryobi slot rails for my saw
Hi Vince, what is the model of your Ryobi saw? And what rails are you referring to?
How do I change the field coil??
Hi, could you please provide the manufacture and a model number and I will be happy to research this for you.
thanks :)
stefan ivanov You're welcome!
You guys take entirely too long to assemble and ship parts out. 3.5 weeks for a couple of bracing bars for a table saw.... ridiculous!
snap on ratchets are junk . ! mac is way better ,even cornwell and matco and chraftsman excell snap on , in the ratchet department
crap
Thank you.. this is really very helpful..
