    I think you are using the can opener backwards

    As it looks I believe the small tang should be placed on the outside diameter of the can under the can rim . The hook of the cutter should be placed beside of the rim of the inside diameter of the can . An upward ratcheting force of motion of the short cutting edge will shear the can’s top . Hopefully this is understandable . 12/22

    Great review, very helpful tip using the laptop charging case, thank you! I have a set of WW2 German Luftwaffe SFKCO marked T.W.S 41. I think T.W.S 41 means THOMAS WIELPÜTZ SOLINGEN (ROSTFREI) 1941. TWS was established in 1880.

      Thank you for the comment! I love German military stuff, It's very practical and built to last. I use this set with USGI canteen cup + stove + Nalgene oasis canteen bottle.

    I sharped the knife and might sharpen the tip of the can opener to make it easier to use,but it's a nice tough set of utensils

    Corona a great beer, the taste is a bit of acquired one on my part for it, but it will do as long as it's cold, still good set of items to have when on the road,

    Where can I buy these in EU? Do they send to other EU countries? I'm tired of plastic sporks breaking on me at the most inconvenient moments!

      I bought mine in Germany in military store so it's definitely real to buy them. Here's a new one in Lithuania for 15$ :www.ebay.com/itm/Original-German-army-cutlery-set-BW-military-eating-utensils-NEW-multitool-kit/252756137767?hash=item3ad9709727:g:9hIAAOSwXEdadFHQ:rk:10:pf:0

    I have the East German steel version MDI marked also the aluminum NVA ones. Kind of scared to use the aluminum ones.

      yeah aluminum is not the best option. I use this utensil set and American USGI steel canteen with Nalgene blackhawk bottle.

    Hello, you are using the can opener incorrectly. First punch two holes in the lid of the can with the tip on the side of the can opener nd then prick the can opener and pry open the can. With the right technique it is easy and better than shown in the video.

    • @ElectronicsComputers
      @ElectronicsComputers  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'll try it. Thanks!

      @@ElectronicsComputers There is another method for the first prick of the can opener, that works easy too: th-cam.com/video/cJSWdGpyQI4/w-d-xo.html Keep in mind that this can opner is a tool for emergencies, not for everyday opening in a kitchen.

    i will never ever,never never ever and ever in my life understand why they keep place for advertising this bootle opener..especialy on heavy duty metal items. We can open a botle with almost anything...the fact is that they spear a bit of material, and in order of tones, this cand reflect in considerable amount of money...probably from a small piece of metal reduce from a piece you can produce at least 15 needles...but in any case..botle oppener in any other heavy duty tool for me at least, it is like you make a pair of pliers and you add also a bottle opener...but hey, we alsi have that :)))) on multitool for example...Damn, this marketing... We don't need botle opener in our life.

      I think there are still some people who would never open a bottle with pliers, even if they were dying of thirst. :))
