I've just been running this thing with the LB-2-X AC and jump jets and aside from blinding myself every game from the muzzle flash it feels insane flying with no shake popping people.
Hero mechs all used to be actually overpowered. We would just call a known position in coms and everyone would focus it because killing it fast was critical. For one weekend, people were calling moonwalkers like that. Nobody mentions the scattershot on coms when they see one. So not that overpowered, even if it's super fun and easy to play.
The spread is enormous though, +35%. You can see a great many of the shots where the cloud of MRMs were hitting the ground and nearby terrain. It is fun but it has its limits like all mechs. I have been playing around with MRM / LBX builds, both triple 2 and double 5s. Once quirked the ROF of the LBX2 is terrifying. Setting it to chain fire and manually firing as fast as possible is amazing although group firing also eats away at the enemy fast. Tonight I will play around with triple LBX2 and triple SRM2 as they too have an amazingly rapid ROF.
As one of the other team in the first match it was frustrating being a slow assault when the team decided to split up and leave us, which you guys did a good job of diving and punishing.
The op part is just your lance coordinating. You could all be running 6xMPLas Jenners and you'd still be rolling the opposing team. That being said, I do expect some nerfs to come down onto the Scattershot because the two most popular builds don't care about the negative spread perk. MRM 60 and 3x LBX/2s just ignore the massive negatives, which sucks because the negatives combined with the frankly silly positives makes the mech feel interesting and other builds have to keep the negatives in mind. I also hope that the no screen shake JJ feature doesn't show up again. The numbers already don't support how accurate we are, and making no screen shake JJ would make the game feel worse unless sweeping changes were implemented to armor and damage.
I think the most immediate nerf they could do without really crippling the mechs good points, would be to remove the heat gen quirk. That on it's own DRASTICALLY reduces it's ability to sustain and brings it's obscene dps for a 55 tonner back in line.
What is the sound pack he is using? I have tried and tried to get the one he is using. I have one but it does not have the full sounds he has. Any help would be great.
@@grymdark5439 you dont need quirks for mgs IV$ has no missle quirks but people run mrmr's on it. the point is this is the same build used on several other mechs. gets kind of tiresome seeing the same loadout on every mech
@@perry92964 Why on earth would I use a .380 pistol in battle when I could use an M4? Blame the developers for awful balance. We use what is effective.

@@TheGimpy117 do you know what the deal with snub ghost heat is now? I haven't played for a year or so And I just heard in a video that 3 snubs is now ghost heat. -was it always like that? Because I seem to remember using 3 snubs at once often
They should honestly make those tops off limits/out of bounds.....Same with the top structures ontop of Vitric on each side and center, and a lot of the building tops in Solaris City. at least the ones that require a stupid amount of jj's
Hilarious that Free World's Coliseum STILL has floating Grass... Ye can whip out all kinds of Lame Legendary Mechs PGI, but ye can't fix Grass floating in the Air... Sad times for MWO...

Mech is strong, but its the 4 man in QP thats broken

Yeah I have cleaned the floor with the scattershot too many times now. It's never an issue. But the dres...that things scary

i thought this build was for the IV 4 drop it to a mrm50 and put some mg's on it so its a little different

yeah, but selling only real money ones isn't really a fix for "bad" mechs
