- This is a 2018 Honda Accord Sport, and I demonstrate how to display digital KPH. From my understanding this is the same for all trims.
1. Press the back button on the steering wheel
2. Select tachometer by pressing down on the wheel/scroll
3. Once you select tach, immediately press & hold down the wheel/scroll for about 3 seconds.
Done!
To switch back just repeat the same steps.
** There is NOT an option to display MPH digitally. Honda did not offer this for US models. I have heard that Canadian models have the option to display MPH digitally but I can not confirm. **

I don’t know what this video is trying to show, but you can NOT change to MPH, you can only toggle between KPH and..... nothing. MPH is not available on US models.
The Honda engineer that decided this should be fired!! POOR JOB HONDA, Way to piss off loyal customers!!!!
The worst thing is that it's the exact opposite in canadian models. Just got a 2018 accord sport, it would show the digital speedometer in mph but it disappears when changed to km/hr.
I live in New York city where we have speed cameras all over the place, not having an mph display has been a nightmare, I will be trading this car in for a Camry very soon.
I have the same issue on Canadian model. We use KM, so when you set it to KM u get no numbers. But in Miles u get a number display... Honda doesn't want to repeat the info in the speed meter i guess? Id rather see the number personally -_-
Yeah makes no sense to me why they wouldnt have numbers for both. Its not like its going to cost a ton extra 😒

I think the purpose of this function is to let you see km/h if you want it because the analog speedometer doesn't have markings for it. It's reversed for the Canadian model. I just got a 2020 Touring and it has a HUD which shows in MPH so I guess that is the only way to have a digital speedometer.
Dose the HUD change to km/h? Is it possible?
@@aymanal_jahwari9148 Yes when you make the change like the video shows it also changes the HUD.
I love my Honda 2020 Sudan but I hate to drive KPH instead of MPH. I live in San Diago, CA. Each person who rides with me and always gets freaked out because they think I'm driving like 150MPH but it's KPH. I can toggle between milage and kilometer but the feature is off. Listen up Japan if you made the car for Americans and keep it the way we like it.
How do you reverse that?

Unfortunately its not a feature/option on US models.
@@yamamjamal1712 i guess they just assumed you can easily read the tachometer and see how fast youre going, so why make MPH be available ... idk 🤷🏾♂️
I would like it because it's right above your speed sign for the street. Kinda would tell you to slow down.
