    Well, if you ever want to replace that boom lift, try to get a telehandler, one with a rotation function, and a work basked. I personally whould say a Manitou (especially a MRT 3255) whould be good because those can be used as a forklift, crane, boom lift, and a lot more. So you have one machine you can use for more than one purpose. And if you get a Manitou, you have a remote to control it.

    Your track loader is huge, and when placed alongside the mini eskavator, Well it looks like you could fit three or more of in bucket. Comes time to load the ten wheeler it should go pretty smooth. It sets there waiting the turn for a pit job. I have done some work on a lot older dozer and it was older cause it had a slide bar transmission and cable blade... pretty helpless they were.. and extremely heavy. Oh yeah, the largest nut that I had ever encountered that you tightened the track with instead of grease gun. Why I mentioned that was remembering finding a heavy duty section of two inch pipe slide over the pipe wrench that we used. We didn't have tools to fix stuff that l run into back then. Everything was new to me then... that twenty + foot pipe slid over the wrench then when it turned it popped and snapped like it was breaking

    Like your moxie, did same thing.. Found 3 Stihl chainsaws at local dump, got two running on their own, sold them, then did Chinese Ebay short block and new carb for the like new MS180 for $43 (it had been run w/o oil in fuel). Great little saw for yard work! Now l see guys advertising for Stihl on Craigslist probably doing same trick.. 😀. Very much enjoying your videos..

    Auto pilot is the best! Man, I was thinking the wind chimes were not going to make it for sure... Glad they did. Too bad about the boom lift not having enough sac to get up the hill, so you think if the weight of it was different you'd be able to get up the hill?

    • @AndrewCamarata

    • @BarnStangz
      @BarnStangz 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine only weighs 7.5 tons but does the same thing. It's also only 2 wheel drive. I'm not really sure where they were designed to use -- mostly level, hard surface -- very limiting!! I've had to pull mine out of the soft ground with the backhoe many times. New subscriber here and totally impressed with your skills and thought process. Not sure what you studied but mechanical engineering is right up your alley! Great job with the videos!!!

One simple servo attached to the throttle would make things a bit safer. You seem to possess plenty of common sense. It wouldn't be very hard. Would make a great series of videos. Just a thought.

    andrew, I could just see the trackhoe burgeoning off the roadside, just as you reach for the controls after jumping off the manlift and spraining your ankle. good one. what would be seriously handy would be a remote control for left and right and shutoff. someday this will bite you I just know it. I don't want to be a negative nancy, but I know it was slow, things happen not planned is all. I have done things like this a lot, but now I am over 70 and can still run with the best in sitz like yours. Remote control though would alleviate a lot of this. For a diesel pusher car front end I was going to use a boat remote for the throttle.
