I wish she didn't leave charmed. I could understand if the show was sucking or something but she was doing great in it. A little feud with a co-star shouldn't make her leave cause of it.
In 1998 The WB was 3yr old network- It was popular but 90210 was even more popular. I will say that Charmed is more popular in syndication vs 90210. Full House came on in 1987 & went off in 1995. Full House was popular in the 80s & 90s.
I like her work, I'm a fan of her, her private life is just for her, I think people are wrong when we think that just because she is a famous person she should have an attitude of angel at some point in our lives we ourselves have been ill at some point in our lives, it is judged by what she does or she did when ourselves are not able to see ourselves infront of the mirror and see our own shortcomings
I admire Carol Potter’s loyalty to Shannen, I think most of the story’s surrounding her were overblown some were true but she’s wasn’t completely to blame
Shannen unfortunately added to the chaos of her own career but turned it into the best career she could back in the 90's. I can't imagine it was easy to work with people like Tori Spelling who had parents who could catch her if she failed in that career. Shannen didn't have that and played into the bad girl because she had to stand apart or go no where. I think she was pretty tough considering her struggles. This was the generation after mine where we grew up with John Hughes films like Breakfast Club and Pretty In Pink. It's the generation before everyone started to understand the power struggles that happen in Hollywood. Brittney Spears parents put her in a conservatorship not long after this. All these actors from this generation are tough people to have worked in Hollywood as long as they did and most of them are still alive and doing well except for Luke Perry RIP❤❤❤
I wonder what would have happened if her parents never got sick and/or her father's business went down under. Would she have been striven to get her jobs on her child shows? If that were to happen then she wouldn't have gotten Heathers and then she wouldn't have gotten 90210? What would be of 90210 with some other chick?
IMO, for whatever her problems may have been, she was the most talented actor on 90210.
The Brenda era is really the only era of the show I acknowledge. Rest in peace, Shannen.
without Shannen the series was no longer the same

I have to disagree. For us early 90s kids, Charmed was a big show, along with Full House.

I love Shannon!!
Henry Crack Me too. Great actress. In Holland we have the Dutch comic con, and she is coming to it. I’m so exited.
