My first COIN purchase a year ago as it's the only COIN theme (other than gandhi now) I've been interested in. I scanned the rules but secretly I've been waiting for a Marco review to help me learn this. Thank you Marco now I have a fighting chance!
Very informative review, as always. Love watching, I often have to rewind because there's so much information, analysis, and feeling in every sentence! I'm afraid I may have missed something, tried to extrapolate it but am unsure about how it compares to other similar titles, played solo specifically (other than the higher complexity level). Are there other titles that cover this time and place?
I think Cuba Libre is a good start for its relatively low complexity among coin series, though it is still significantly heavy than normal euro games. Another useful advice to enter this series is to pick the one that interests you most with its historical background regardless of tis complexity, since all of them have steep learning carve.
I’ve watched a few how to play for this game and none have explained things as well as you have. Thank you for making this video 4 years ago.
“We’re pretty good at it...”. Haha, I see what you did there!
Gawd help me, been collecting games for years now and just started into the war games... Its a whole new animal from other types of games.
Ryan Stoned i feel your pain, miniature games for me though but the dilemma is the same D:
best line in a video review " split your mind into different factions, and 'we are prettying good at it' " lol

Picton 101 - I’m in the same boat! pendragon is my first and Gandhi is my P500. Can hardly wait to get this to the table! Great review, Marco!
I love this game and recommend it thoroughly.
Marco, I really enjoy your reviews.
Ok, thanks again Marco really like the Coin Series especially for solitaire play.
Hey Marco where does this rank in your list of best COIN games?

Love this game so immensely different styles if you compare with Falling Sky.
England? There’s some Scotland in there too!
Thanks Marco for another great review. I want to try the COIN series and wanted to know which title should be my first purchase?

Falling Sky is a good starter. Also Root is not GMT or COIN officially, but it sure is similar, and another good start.
thanks Julie, Cole Wehrle is already one of my favorite designers with his excellent Pax Pamir, will def look into Root.
Thank you, I think I go with cuba Libre first.
