This is a lovely conversion , but for me I can't sacrifice a shower. Everyone is different and everyone who does these renos/conversions do it to what suits them. For this couple it's a lovely space. Good on them for getting out there.👍🏽
I love this bus! The counters are so long and it just makes it feel really open. I like the idea of the two couches and they look pretty comfortable even though they’re storage couches which I’m not a big fan of. And the back of the bus with the deck and underneath was very very clever and it looks Safe even though the propane is underneath. Great job you guys.
I love that last bit especially, that they've said "It's a great day" more times in their skoolie-life than in their sticks-and-bricks-life....I totally get that (I bought a shortie in April and am still converting her, but I've already experienced, several times, that amazing feeling of "oh my gosh, THIS is my life now!"). This is a gorgeous conversion and I can only imagine how much work it took to get it all done. It's truly inspiring and thank you for sharing. P.S. I'm gonna go Follow them now too :-)
I'm in love with your home it's absolutely stunning and yours maybe the first stove burners I've seen like that. Where did you guys purchase from? 🌹🥰 Yess your ceiling is beautiful ❤️🌹
I'm guessing they either have a outdoor shower or they turn the sink faucet around out the window use as the showerhead that way they can stand outside using it as the shower that's my best guess. It works but I would rather have a small space for shower and toilet inside even if its just a wet bath. Other then the bathroom situation I love the build it's look very nice and comfy...
@@UnKnown-zy1km I totally agree with you I'm assuming that they have a gym membership my other concern is I cannot understand why bathrooms are so close to the kitchen and especially when they don't have a door.
Hi! This is Phyllis, my husband and I are apparently the stinky couple. 😂. We started our build thinking we needed a shower but after living in her we realized that showers were very accessible. We belong to planet fitness and 24 hour fitness. Part of our journey has been to challenge ourselves to stay as active as possible. We are motivated to workout for the shower after. Also they have showers at state parks, RV parks, etc. Once in a while we are off grid and we shower outside of our bus with outdoor shower we should have featured. It’s been the same with our bathroom. Our expectations and our reality living in Sandy has been so different. I promise we shower often.
lol glad you cleared that up Phyllis, we were a little concerned 😁😁but seriously ain't nobody's business. Love your home and that counter top is gorgeous...Greetings from the beautiful island of Barbados 🇧🇧🇧🇧
I'm amazed at the comments asking about the "bathroom". She already explained the toilet situation (they have one--8:38 mark) and also the shower situation. Do people not know about showers in gyms and truck stops and campgrounds and state parks? 🙄
Looks like 26 and a half feet based on having 9 windows. 10 windows makes 28 1/2 or 29 ft depending on the bus model. For example, a Blue Bird TC2000 with 10 windows is 28 1/2 feet, but a Thomas Saf T Liner with 10 windows is 29 1/2 or even 30 feet. Nice setup though.
Nice bus but no shower is not something I could do. Less counter to allow for a shower would be better in my opinion, or just a longer bus all together.
Great build very well packaged and comfortable, but I would have taken some of the long work top and incorporated a bathroom with toilet,I know you said it was not used as it should have been ,but there is nothing more refreshing than just popping in a shower if just to freshen up,not being critical here but just to separate the bed from the main living space my wife and I would have had some White floaty nets ,but that's my opinion only. Thanks for showing us your home.
I am 45 years old with very little set aside for retirement at this point. I have always been curious about the stock market and have witnessed some people who played the game right and retired early because they used the stock market. When I ask them, most said that they invested very little to start with, but their portfolio grew. I do have a significant amount of capital that is required to start up but I have no idea what strategies and direction I need to approach to help me make decent returns
@shagua Xiao Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others, as an investor, you should’ve known that by now, nothing beats experience and that’s final, personally I had to reach out to a market analyst for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to a million, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I’m buying again

Lol we really should have addressed this. We belong to planet fitness and 24 hour fitness and shower there. It keeps us motivated to hit the gym. Plus RV parks and state parks have great showers.
I don't know how people can build a nice bus and not incorporate a shower. That would be the first thing Especially if you can't always get somewhere to wash your body. Maybe some people like going for days without a bath.
Lol. I only take a shower once a week and I live in a sticks-and-bricks. There are other ways to stay clean in between. Believe it or not, but people used to go that long back in the day--before the advent of commercials and companies pushing products onto us. It's actually detrimental to the friendly bacteria and the natural oils that live on our skin to constantly wash it away. When you shower every day, it forces your body to make even more sebum, which can lead to an over production of it.
Such a big bus with a lot of space, but no shower and a mini- toilet, that can only be used with the door open. In my opinion the big kitchen is wasted space.
Honestly, I would have agreed going into our build but after living in her full time our view is very different. We shower at the gym (belong to 2 large chain gyms) state parks and rv parks. We also have an outdoor shower we should have featured. I love our big living space and happily shower elsewhere.
what on Earth did you mean by you thought the people would be "less inclusive"...? Really? Too conservative, libertarian, free thinkers? Not enough "wokesters and Gender Studies graduates maybe?
Hi. What I meant is living in a bus we thought we would not be as connected to family and friends because of our constant travel. We realized that we have formed stronger connections. Perhaps I said this incorrectly but there was nothing negative meant.
Everything's great except for no shower. I would sacrifice some of that counter space for shower space.
Same here.
I just want to know how they get clean?
Yes, I'm with you guys, love to have a shower add.
I rotally agree with you !
Weren’t all the gyms closed during covid? I see so many of these people saying they go to gyms. No thx, I like my own space.
Awesome video but I prefer to have a shower as well. You did a beautiful job on this home.

Nice build. The only thing is I would have to have a shower. You did a great job. Nice home!
A 28 footer is my dream size, and I can never find enough videos on them! This was such an awesome tour
Love your colors. The blues and the beach scene. Just so nice to come home too. Where was your shower. I think I missed it.

Beautiful van build, But I cannot living in a bus without shower!!! How did you guys shower daily?
Love your space, but where is the bathroom?
Your buss conversion is awesome. And I loved you Aussie as well.
I’m building a 33ft bus and man it’s a lot of work.
I use to work at the International plant that made the DT466 "The Legend" just saying lol. Very nice build!
Love Sandy ❤️ A Australian shepherd.
Just saw the bathroom, Sorry, thought that it was all a closet. Very nice!
Really nice and airy! Feels homely too!! Would need a shower myself, but apart from that....I am very jealous! Lol! (Kisses).
Hello from Michigan wow I absolutely love your business very beautiful thank you for sharing your story
Hey I think your Skoolie Bus home looked really great ❤ Happy Traveling 👋
I love it. It is so cozy and homey.
It's beautiful inside and out
You both are living LARGE!!!!!!!!!

Such a lovely, well put together home. Great job. Are there plenty of public places to shower when you want?
Yes there are

Very nice conversion however I would prefer to have the toilet area enclosed for privacy.

A gray tank is just our sink water. A black tank is when you flush a toilet and has human waste.
