CEC in the 90s and 2000s would make me want to become a performer for the costumed characters. Current CEC doesn’t have that fun atmosphere as it once used it.

Do you know why? CEC stopped caring and wanted to cut corners to save $$$? Because I too would certainly want to be a costumed character at CEC.

never pick up kids? tell that to the Chuck performer who picked me up( I was around 3 or 5 at the time) and I have the picture to prove it! Also, I was born in 2003.( the time Chuck picked me up was honestly the best time of my life, I barley remember it, but I can clearly tell I liked it because I'm smiling in the photo like a kid enjoying themselves. I think Chuck picked me up to be playful, like when a parent playfully teases you by picking you up when you are little and tickling you( i don't think Chuck did the tickling part, if he did I don't remember).)

I have something say about this CEC Character Training Video:
    Thought 1:
Why in the world would corporate tell CEC not to pick up a kid? The reason why is they don't want to make kids squirm or drop them, but there needs to be times when the characters can pick up and carry a kid like dancing with them. You know, I've seen a TH-cam video from a Chuck E. Cheese's location with 1-Stage in Poughkeepsie, NY with Chuck E. & the Chuckettes performing Twist and Shout Live. Here's something very cute in this video. Chuck E. was dancing with a little boy that had black skin. Chuck E. got so excited that he gently and safely picked him up (he bent his knees in order to do that), carried him like a baby, and rocked him back and forth like a baby. Don't worry, Chuck E. didn't make him squirm and he didn't drop the boy with black skin. He gently placed him back down on the floor & made sure the child's feet are touching the floor. It's in the TH-cam video Happy Birthday, Meeka!!, it starts at the 4:16 mark & ends at the 4:27 mark. It's not bad, it's actually very cute. There are also a couple TH-cam videos where Chuck E. Cheese picks up and carries a kid safely and gently, like Family Home Videos: part 40. 1993 - Kevin's 4th birthday at Chuck E. Cheese - starts at 9:45 mark and ends at 9:56 mark (This is from the Springfield, MA CEC location, Chuck E. is just picking up the kid for a birthday hug and kiss, then he put the birthday boy back on the floor safely) & the BIG BOY DULANEY Dec. 19th, 1992 4th Birthday Chuck-E-Cheese starts at the 7:49 mark & ends at the 7:56 mark (Chuck E. picked up two birthday boys safely, gently and firmly and carried them off the stage after Chuck E. came off of the stage as Birthday Star 1992 is ending and placed them back on the floor safely before the curtains close because he didn't want them to trip nor fall down when the curtains are closing). Please do not criticize the people who woke up Chuck E. & let Chuck E. pick up & carry a kid safely in these videos. It's not a bad thing, it's a good thing. They're teaching Chuck E. to show empathy, sympathy & humility to the kids, keep them safe and meet their needs. There needs to be a rule for those who are “waking up the characters” that if a child wants to be picked up by the characters (I'm sure you've heard the pick me up cry), then they should do it gently and safely & carry them safely for a little bit, not violently nor inappropriate. Doing it violently or inappropriately can cause damage to the costume and hurt a kid emotionally, verbally, spiritually, and physically and can make them squirm and can also develop masklophobia. The walkaround characters should not make them squirm and they should not drop them when they are picking them up safely and gently. They should check them first to make sure there's no squirmness inside of them before picking them up safely and gently, like rubbing on the head or holding their hand. Babies and young kids are 100% very fragile. This is not recommended for babies who have the masklophobia phase, toddlers who have the masklophobia phase, young kids who have the masklophobia phase, older kids with masklophobia nor special needs with masklophobia. They can only pick up, carry and hold the ones that do not have masklophobia and are not squirmy. They cannot pick up, carry or hold the ones with a masklophobia phase or long-term masklophobia. It's only for people ages 0 to 7 that are not afraid of the characters and are not squirmy. If the cast members are not comfortable with that when waking up Chuck E., then sitting on the floor cross-legged and holding an infant or kneeling to a little child are better choices. I want the characters to show empathy, humility and God's love to the kids.

    Thought 3:
You know, Chuck E. March should have been the song only at the start of every Chuck E. Cheese gameroom meet and greet appearances when there’s no one in the showroom because most guests didn’t see Chuck E. Cheese come out of his door and hardly anyone didn’t see him make his entrance until one of the parents or other guests saw him. Chuck E. March is my favorite CEC live show because it sounds like an hourly Chuck E. gameroom meet and greet when there’s no one in the showroom because of the lyrics “How we love to be together”, “He wants to see your big white grin”, & “I’m happy to see you, I want a hug”. Another reason why I think Chuck E. March live needs to be a gameroom meet and greet song at the start of Chuck E. Cheese gameroom meet and greet appearances is because I don’t want gameroom guests feeling left out when a birthday show is performed in the showroom. The Chuck E. March live walkaround gameroom meet and greets are a great idea to follow the policy: “Every guest must see Chuck E. Cheese”. Remember the Chuck E. Intro announcements in the Pizza Time Theater audio reel to reel showtapes? That’s why I think Chuck E. March live needs to be mandatory to play for hourly Chuck E. gameroom meet and greet appearances when there’s no one in the showroom. It also should have been started manually via the show control panel or DVD menu instead of automatically. There also should have been a video black prerecorded announcement calling guests to come to the gameroom at the beginning before the majestic and beautiful fanfare, the lights blinking beautifully along to the fanfare and the video footage for Chuck E. March starts. The song and lyrics for both the 1993 and 2001 versions of Chuck E. March sound beautiful, to be honest with you. For noncrowded hours, it should be started manually via DVD menu or the show control panel when Chuck E. Cheese is fully dressed and ready to come out into the gameroom. The volume must be turned up loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear the Chuck E. March song. For crowded hours, when Chuck E. Cheese is entering into the gameroom, then a cast member should start the full audio version of the Chuck E. March 2001 live show on CD boombox and turn it up loud for the gameroom to hear. This is what corporate should have done instead of the automatic live show feature because I have read reviews from locations that Chuck E. didn’t come out at all when the song started from lame Dance Floor locations, Studio C HD locations, Studio C locations and Circles of Light locations. The automatic live show feature is a failure, to be honest with you. Why in the world would corporate put in the Birthday Break 1993 thing with music from Trivia #7, Question #2 from Trivia 5, Question #2 from Trivia #7 and Question #3 from Trivia 7 after the Chuck E. March 1993 live show footage and also add the Birthday Star 1992 Video Black Live Show at the end of the Chuck E. March 1993 SVHS showtape for CEC Stage (1 Stage, Road Stage, and 2 Stage), C Stage, Rocker Stage & 3 Stage shows? The 1993 version of Chuck E. March live also should have been mandatory to play only the start of every Chuck E. Cheese gameroom meet and greet appearances when there’s no one in the showroom. I found out in a TH-cam video at the El Paso, TX CEC location that there's a countdown at the start of the Chuck E. March 1993 SVHS showtape. In the 2-minute part of the countdown, the announcer should have said: “Get ready, get set, Chuck E. Cheese will be singing and dancing into the gameroom to say hello to you live before your very eyes! Now that’s entertainment!” and a video black prerecorded announcement with the announcer calling all guests to come to gameroom after the Chuck E.’s Animal View intermission when the countdown is ending before the Chuck E. March song starts. It's true that Chuck E. and the characters need to greet guests in the gameroom, Kid Check area, toddler zone, kiddie area, prize area and table to table, but there the song Chuck E. March needs to be mandatory to play over the showroom speakers with the volume turned up out to alert guests that Chuck E. is coming out. When the announcer says "Live from our fabulous showroom, here he is, the master of fun, Chuck E. Cheese", that's Chuck E.'s cue to enter the gameroom and start greeting guests in the gameroom, Kid Check area, Toddler zone, Kiddie Area, prize area, and table to table.
    Thought 4:
They need to childproof the Chuck E. Door, like putting a level handle lock, pinch guards and/or a door knob lock.

Chuck E also has to stop coming out on the 2 minute or 3 minute mark and carrying the sign that says follow me for free tickets.
Chuck E should be doing what the song says and come out when it says "Let's hear it for Chuck E Cheese" and be ready by the time he says "2 minutes until Chuck E Cheese Live

      @anastasialaguardia3848 ปีที่แล้ว

@@xenmartin9759 I have to disagree with that. It’s okay for Chuck E. to go off-script during a live birthday show or the Chuck E. March live show for Chuck E. out on the floor. But he has to come out when Kelly on the TV screen says: “Let’s hear it for Mr. Chuck E. Cheese” in the birthday show.
The truth is most kids are too young to walk much, so less dance. How are screens supposed to entertain? Some kids that have epilepsy and may have seizures because of the lights, causing conflicts and drama. Some kids with special needs will get upset because of light sensitivity. Too much TV is not good for you. Lights can be overheated and burned out melting the plastic covering causing a fire. With all the lights burning out, with no way to replace it there's no point it's just a floor. Pizza and drinks can get spilled on it, causing falls from parents, grandparents, mascots and kids with tons of lawsuits! The corners of the floors could crack and tear upwards; kids could get scratched up from it or trip. There are kids that have a masklophobia phase and are worried that someone would kidnap them, sacrifice them, take their blood for Adrenochrome (which is a drug that really rich people like celebrity clones and CEOs use) and they won’t see mom or dad again. Those poor kids with masklophobia will think a character is a demon, a devil or Satan. Children have pure energy and they can sense demons and devils than adults can. Those poor kids with masklophobia think Chuck E. Cheese is Satan. Now that the 2.0 tests have made Chuck E. become prideful, the kids with masklophobia are right.

@@xenmartin9759 In Chuck E. Cheese’s Birthday Star Spectacular 2018, they had the announcer doing the star recognition at the 1 minute part of the countdown before the show actually began. This is all wrong and very misleading. The star recognition is Chuck E.’s job according to the website. They should’ve had the announcer getting the audience to pray to God for blessing and then get them ready by asking them if they are ready. Also, the Birthday Song & Dance 2018 is awful.

    Thought 5:
The costumes need to be relocated to a bigger room if they are original located in a room next to the Cyberstar control system or the Studio C control system. The costumes can’t be near to the Cyberstar control system or Studio C control system. They need to be in the kitchen or in a room with a bigger space. What if the Cyberstar control system or Studio C control system blows up and sets the costume on fire? I don’t think the turntable for 1-Stage shows is a good idea.

A helper should be possible, but not required, unless for off-site events like homeschool events. Take a look at Donovan Patton aka Joe at the Nickelodeon Hotel for Nick Jr. Month back in 2006. Joe took the time with each kid. His handlers did not rush them through. He also did not rush through. Even with a couple handers, he ran the show. The handlers did not tell him when he was ready to do what. They followed along with the pace he set. That's what the helpers aka Chuckettes should have done. Some people want to rush through the performance, they don't care about time, rushing through the performance and rushing back can make a toddler and even people with special needs very angry. The characters need to take their time. The characters' helpers should not tell when he or she was ready to do what. The characters' helpers need to follow along with the pace he or she set and let the characters run the show.
    Thought 12
Have you heard of a hydration system on a cooling vest? The cooling vest with a hydration system can extend the mascot's time in the restaurant. Performers not only need to hydrate before and after, but also during. CEC restaurants need to have a freezer with replacement cooling vests that have included a hydration system, and also a brow cooler, a kold kollar, a brow cooler for the helmet and a crown cooler for the helmet.

    Thought 2:
It's true that some kids & toddlers can be afraid of Chuck E., the reason why is because they have a phase that's common, but however, normal called masklophobia. Another reason why is because children have pure energy, and since they are innocent, have no knowledge between good and evil, are unaccountable, have no sin inside of them and are too young to make decisions for themselves, they can sense demons and devils, and they can see things adults can't see. The third reason why is because they're afraid someone would kidnap them and they won't see their mom or dad again. Masklophobia is a phobia that describes a fear of anyone wearing a mask or a costume. This is common, but normal in toddlers and small kids since they are unable to distinguish between what's fun and games and play from reality. Coulrophobia, which is the fear of clowns, can be associated with masklophobia. Sadly, there are clowns that are pedophiles and have adrenochrome in their eyes. People with masklophobia experience these symptoms: crying, screaming, shaking, sweating, shaking, hiding, or running away. Most kids grow out of this fear, but for some kids, like the ones with Sensory Processing Disorder, symptoms may worsen if masklophobia isn't treated. Kids with masklophobia might think that somebody is coming to kidnap them, take their blood for adrenochrome (which is an addictive drug used by celebrities, politicians, CEOs, etc. to make them look young) and they won't see their mom or dad again, so the walkaround characters should comfort them by patting them or rubbing them on the head. If the kids with masklophobia phase back away from them when the characters are trying to comfort them, then the walkaround characters can express shyness or afraid feelings from a safe distance that is comfortable for them as the last tool available for the characters. If they're scared, then the characters can be scared, too. If they're shy, the characters can be shy, too. Expressing shyness can help a kid try to slowly grow out of the masklophobia phase. Comforting them can soothe a kid with a masklophobia phase and can also help the kid grow out of the masklophobia phase. It takes time. Babies and young children cannot soothe all by themselves when they're crying. Babies and young children also cannot defend themselves when they are scared. They need an adult who is loving and gentle to comfort them. Most parents who have been hit and yelled at since childhood have been laughing at or teasing their kids with masklophobia, and that's not very nice. Laughing at or teasing kids with masklophobia is the sin of verbal abuse & emotional abuse. It's a form of bullying, and bullying starts in the home. If a kid with a masklophobia phase is in the mother or papa's arms, then the walkaround characters should comfort them by patting them on the head or rubbing their back. The walkaround characters should also convince them that God loves them, He has got them and He is watching out for them. A Chuckette should be notified and he or she can teach the kid Psalms 91. The characters need to learn to read the guests and know how much or little interaction that they need. They should also ask the parents to have them with their frightened kid do a 10 to 20 second hug together if they want to. Again, adults and seniors are kids in the Lord Jesus. Kids copy want adults do. They are imitators since impulse control isn't developed until age 8.
