Haha, yes! Since moving to Norway people would ask me if I was from Alta ;-] But I've never been, really want to though but it's quite up north! Hopefully one day soon...
Welcome to Norway. I hope you both thrive here. Norway has quite a history with the Netherlands and Dutch people, though perhaps mainly through the trading port of Bergen. This does not matter to you of course, but it shows that it is not the first time people from the lowlands settle in with the mountain apes (as the Danes call us :D ).
That's so nice, thank you! The Dutch for sure love Norway, it's so gorgeous! We've been enjoying our time so much already. We really hope for another snowy winter because love being outside in the snow!
Hey wat leuk om je verhaal te horen! Wij zijn 7 maanden geleden verhuisd naar het noorden van Noorwegen en zo te zien met hetzelfde verhuisbedrijf :) Ik blijf je zeker volgen!
Wat toevallig! Super gaaf joh en spannende plek lijkt me, Noord Noorwegen. Dat is wel even wat anders dan NL ;-] Ik ga jouw video's ook eens even goed bekijken, leuk!
I like your reflections and I love how logical you are in your planning and trying to find solutions to all the issues you could find. A lot of people get stuck in that and focus on the problems only , and let the fear take over and paralyze them in doing something new. I wish you the best luck in Norway💕
Thank you so much for sharing your perspective with me and wishing me the best! I have the same observation of people getting stuck because of fear and a narrow focus on the problem. That is why with each video I make I try to be as logical as I can in providing the guidance that could help them with braking their problems into smaller chunks. Because most of the time this approach helps a lot in coming up with solutions right?!
Thanks so much for your nice comment! I'm glad you liked Lofoten! I was in Lofoten last winter and absolutely loved it as well. This country is beautiful for sure!
So they say, but when it comes to the things you actually need (f.e. healthcare, education) it's so much more affordable than many other countries. And living here vs visiting Norway makes a lot of difference because wages are higher as well.
It depends on what you do with your time. Lack of light may affect, but you can do things that gives you happiness and fulfillment and also doing meditation and physical exercise helps with mental health.
Quand vous invitez quelqu’un chez vous c’est très chaleureuses du début jusqu’au départ et plus pas avec n’importe qui je le sais yog vist
Btw, Alta is a Nice town in Norway!;)

Norway ~ one of the most expensive countries in the world.

@Irisalta I chose to live in Finland, which is quite a bit less expensive than Norway, but similar lifestyle.
Ohhh Finland, have never been there but must be amazing!
@@Irisalta Yes, it’s beautiful 😍 very cold atm though...
Oh my, it must be! We've had -20* C these past few days and that was already really cold!
Gooooooo Iris!! 💪
Yeah! Thanks Roem!!
Just say boyfriend…
why?
@@Sigmo92 Because that's the correct word. 'Partner' is for business.
@@theglobalexposer4881 partner in life sounds much nicer than boyfriend/ girlfriend though, i think:p
Living in dark and desolate places with harsh winters brings on depression and suicide.

Millions of Scandinavians seem to survive just fine & have for centuries.
