I prefer manual too and in fact my beetle is a manual but this car still moves pretty well with the automatic and its my dad's car and he can sometimes drive up to 250 miles a day which could get pretty tiresome with a manual when you're 44 years old. Bottom line is its not your car so there's no need to be such a prick about it.
Hey "everyone", just updating you on my 1998 Ford escort.. she didnt pass inspection 16 years ago because it was a piece of trash so shes probably been crushed, recycled and now u drink your soda from the cans that were made from her. hey man. it appears you had a 04 or so Accord. should I keep my 2007 Accord Coupe or get this Jetta? I think I can sell my Accord with 156k miles for $3,500 and there's this Jetta for $3,000 with 108k miles

Tien Trinh my 07 jetta has 222k and it’s only Left me stranded twice (fuel pump failed and crankshaft sensor failed because it was a cheap brand and VW doesn’t like cheap) I think most people who bash VW saying they’re trays are bs. Mk5 jetta looks Miles better than the accord and in my opinion is still one of the best looking road cars today.
Absolutely nothing major. Airbag light came on a week after we bought it because of a seatbelt tensioner recall that nobody ever fixed. Took it to the dealer and they had it fixed in no time :) It is a VW of course not some piece of crap ford or Hyundai that breaks down every week.

Anyways I own a 07 Jetta 2.5 Wolfburg Edition great car have owned it for several years now, VW engines are very dependent on AIRFLOW, so a simple air leak will make you lose power... A LOT of it. That might be the reason why you couldn't pass a Jeep on a hill... Keep in mind you should be in 2nd gear going up any-kind of steep hill to save your transmission. Learn something about cars before just driving them.... Buy a Haynes Manual for your vehicle and read it from first page to last.
