Hello and merry Christmas, this is amazing and awesome content. Which you sir, have a shared with all of us, once again. Thank you so very much, and I am wishing you and your entire family and friends a blessed merry Christmas and happy holiday season.
I was born in the early 70s, so now we're starting to get into the era I remember! I loved the 1950s ones the other day, but the sound of these hold a nostalgic sway over me.
Just a note about the WPGC jingles at the end here. Those were rejected by the station. DJ/PD Harv Moore went to Dallas and had them re-sung with a different melody/logo, and also some subtle changes in timing and processing of the vocals. The result was a unique version of series 42A which I always liked best of all. I'll send those to you when I find them. (I got them from somewhere on the internet in 2013) One of the rejected PGC jingles DOES appear in an early PAMS 42A demo.
@@EllisFeaster Oops! I'm not on facebook. Do you have an e-mail or other way to get it to you? If not maybe I can drop it on soundcloud or something. I also have a few short airchecks from the 1970s that I've been meaning to donate, including a screamer named Jerry Kane/Cain on Atlanta's Z-93.

Merry Christmas Ellis Feaster! Any more CHR/Top 40 station jingles from the 1980s?
@heathconrad212 Merry Christmas. I have posted hundreds. Feel free to go through them.
@EllisFeaster you can upload more jingles soon from that decade (if available)
That WLS jing @ 10:16 is a mashup of a 42a cut and the "Solid Rock" package vocal group.

The current version of WMEX is using the same or a similar jingle yet today.
1:20 Wrong station logo! Should be KFYR 550 (Bismarck, ND), not WFYR Chicago.
