I was doing nights at Power 92 (KKFR) in Phoenix, and I would sit and do my show prep while sitting in the waiting room where guest would sit and wait to be on the air, while he was on the air. He was fun to listen to and watch live before my show.
Jay Clark, PD at Real Radio 104.1 became PD at KSLX. Creative genius Rich Boerner became the Creative Director at KSLX… after years of making Real Radio a huge success. Ed Tyll, middays at Real Radio did 10pm-1am on KLSX… and Rob Frasier the genius production director who wrote the funniest commercials in the business left Real Radio for KLSX before joining KLOS as morning producer.
Great Talk Jock TL
Imagine seeing Tom on the AM at KFYI then walking down the Hall to the FM/KKFR and seeing Howard Hoffman tear it up!!! That was 1988 and I loved it!!!
