      Yeah, the horses drive me crazy. I can call and have all the cows running to me. Horses may or may not respond!

    Thundersleet is what we in eastern Oklahoma called it.

    • @HurricaneCreekFarms
      @HurricaneCreekFarms  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That makes the most sense. Do y’all see it that often? Thanks for watching

      @@HurricaneCreekFarms it doesn’t happen all that often, but with Oklahoma you never know what kind of weather you are going to have. We ended up with about 3” of sleet, when that storm passed through here. It looks like y’all ended up with more ice than we did. We have had a Blizzafloodquakenado about 10 or so years ago. Oklahoma and her bipolar weather.
      👍🏻 I really enjoy watching your videos.

    We get Thundersnow up here in Maine every now & again

      It makes sense, I guess. Our thunderstorms are usually during warmer weather, so I guess that’s why it seems to odd to be paired with the sleet storm.

      We had the weather go from 51 or so to below zero in a day.
      You could see the front move in.
      No thunder that time

      I would’ve filmed us getting there and unloading, but battery was dead. I didn’t hang around for the sale, so I wouldn’t have been able to film them in the ring, anyway. Thanks for watching!

    The farm next us had a cow crazy and broke 7 rib hurt his leg and hip you b safe

    • @HurricaneCreekFarms
      @HurricaneCreekFarms  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, they can hurt you in hurry, sometimes without even meaning to. My uncle had one run him over and break some bones in his face a few years ago. Thankfully, it was major fractures, but that was a really aggressive bull that they should’ve sold long before he got as big as he did.

    I can relate about selling cow always bittersweet but it has to be done

    • @HurricaneCreekFarms
      @HurricaneCreekFarms  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, it was a no brainer culling those 4, but it was especially hard with the 501 cow. Her staring at me as I walked past the pen was salt in the wound.
