We ended up with about 3” of sleet, when that storm passed through here. It looks like y’all ended up with more ice than we did. We have had a Blizzafloodquakenado about 10 or so years ago. I would’ve filmed us getting there and unloading, but battery was dead. I didn’t hang around for the sale, so I wouldn’t have been able to film them in the ring, anyway. Thanks for watching!
Yeah, they can hurt you in hurry, sometimes without even meaning to. My uncle had one run him over and break some bones in his face a few years ago. Thankfully, it was major fractures, but that was a really aggressive bull that they should’ve sold long before he got as big as he did.
Yeah, it was a no brainer culling those 4, but it was especially hard with the 501 cow. Her staring at me as I walked past the pen was salt in the wound.

Yeah, the horses drive me crazy. I can call and have all the cows running to me. Horses may or may not respond!

It makes sense, I guess. Our thunderstorms are usually during warmer weather, so I guess that’s why it seems to odd to be paired with the sleet storm.

I can relate about selling cow always bittersweet but it has to be done

Yeah, it went from muddy to really icy muddy (& we are still icy & muddy!)
