I am happy to hear it helped you! I have had the same question for ICOM for years and they never have introduced a "delete" function. They just suggest you write over the ones you no longer want. Thanks again!
Oh, you can also do a soft reset on the radio to clear all the channels and load back in what you really want. This is handy if you bought it used and it's full of channels you don't use. 73!
your fingers doing things are frequently out of sight of the camera, it does help with confusion, been trying to find a good video on how to set the offset. This is not it.
At 2:24 in the recording I clearly show the "Dup" key on the lower right panel of the radio and then mention that I have my radio set up for "Auto Offset". If you are not aware, that is a setting where the offset is automatically set "+" or "-" or "no offset" based on what frequency you select. As an alternative, you can press the DUP key to change from no offset, to plus or minus offset. Hope this clears things up for you. If not, the manual is online at Icomamerica.com and clearly (even with pictures!) explains how to set Duplex offset.
Your video really helped me to program a memory channel on my ICOM T70A. Do you have any instructions for clearing the existing memory channels?
