Actually, the 1937 film, though mostly still quite charming, does creak a little in certain respects by modern sensibilities - mainly women's roles. I'm not being "woke" - I'm (in 2023) a 63-year-old white male, but even I find some aspects of it a little jarring. I see it as of its time, but I suspect a lot of younger folk would find it more so. (I know nothing of this 2024 one the spambot keeps talking about.)

If you look through his history, although he made a lot of amazingly good and successful decisions, he also made a whole bunch of bad decisions that ended up hurting his company. the one that comes directly to mind is his response to the Unions, he lost a lot of good animators to that conflict :/
