@@DiandSam both of your growth throughout the build. Di for you overcoming the challenge of learning to use power tools. But also seeing your creativity come to life. Sam watching your problem solving skills come to life. Allowing yourself space to learn and overcome the challenges bus builds pose. You both did a remarkable job. One you should both hold your heads high and be extremely proud off.
Hi Di and Sam. You got to love Justin. Lol at this is easy Sam. TH-cam university is the best. I’m glad your family and friends were so supportive. Looking at it as one job at a time was a great way to look at it. The thoughts gone into the layout was fantastic. It was a great accomplishment to use the toilet and shower. It really highlights how far you have come. I love that you guys stopped danced and spent some time being silly and enjoying one another. Those times are vital. So many don’t take that time. This was by far the best video you guys have ever done. I love that you told the truth of the difficulties you faced along the way and pointed out some of the ways you overcome them. Well done guys I’m so proud of you both. I’m so looking forward to sitting back and watching you both enjoy all the good times ahead that comes from being brave enough to experience all the hard times to get there.
Hey, I stumbled upon you guys when I was looking for solutions to rust. I just bought a bus, similar but a little older and have leaks and rust in the windows like you had. I’m loving seeing other Aussie’s doing this, so relatable. I’m also into living the permaculture/homestead life and will be building my bus with as much recycled, second hand and repurposed materials as possible. Thanks for sharing and being so inspiring!
Thank you so much! So glad you did :) Can't wait to hear about your journey and if there are any tips we can share along the way just ask! It is so worth it and I think suits the lifestyle perfectly if I say so myself, all the best with your build lovely!
Hi ya Di and Sam so much has happened , been fun watching, and you have finally made it. You both deserve a pat on the back. Take care and stay safe cheers from Queensland,,🚎♻️❤️
Great video guys. . Good insight into the process. Enjoy your well-deserved reward exploring our big backyard. Looking fwd to your journey God Bless with safe travels xx
Such a wonderful journey, I can't believe it has been two years for your build!!! I wish this wind would calm down on the weekends so I can start my internal sheeting and get a start on the bed area.
Yes! 6 months of procrastination and planning and then a year and a half of gun ho getting it done 💪🙌 you're next my friend! The winds been insane, Spring is known for it now isn't it. Hoping it calms for you too;
@@DiandSam sorry, for some reason it looked like you had a land and then you decided to go with a bus. And this days in my Opinion all you need is Land :)
Agreed we would have loved to have gotten land, but COVID made house prices around us go up by 5x We were renting from a very kind landlord who lets us have animals and gardens 😊👍❤️
What's been your favourite part of this build to watch?

Mammoth effort guys, well done
Thanks my dude, absolutely could not have done it without you 💪❤️
If I was given a bus that was very similar and in the same no-interior condition, I would make it into a 49-53 seat executive coach bus.
Awesome 👍
We're stoked we have built our home into it 😊
