The rubber band on the hook return steered me away.

Rubber band? I wish he would of elaborated more on that and is it replaceable

I bought a trufire tension release to try. Bad investment for me. Dont know what I was thinking since I shot my fuse trigger single. I've got a trufire button that I don't shoot bad but trigger is alot easier. No more back tension for me

What exactly is trigger tension. Alittle confused on that

What do you do with all the extra strap that hangs out the back if you have the trigger head short???

Tie it in a knot. You could cut it off if you wanted. But you need a knot, either way, for safety if the strap locking screws fail

Scott always has built good releases.
The silverhorn was a good one but they discontinued it. Will give this one a try.

Seems loud to cock, I use a stan xtinction 2, good release but every now and then it doesn't cock correct and will miss fire at the beginning of my draw

This by a country mile... This S2 is the best index release Ive owned. and I have had about 15 of them. Set it very short so your index finger can wrap around the trigger and touch your thumb.... then just pull back with you index finger as a hook. Super crispy break and the adjustability on tension and travel are really great. Its WAY better than the Wise guy

I like my fuse single caliper instead of double makes it less to mess up

I beleave a single caliper release gives a better chance of nothing else to mess up

Wish I could find the fuse single caliper but got it wit my 2012 bear legion that I have a blackgold accent whitetail 3 pin adjustable sight and fuse 10 in. Stabilizer with whisker biscuit. Only a 60 lb. Bow with a 27 draw length and shoot 480 spine bloodline arrows from same year. Have went to 400 spine bloodline since but still have 4 in quiver with broodheads for hunting. 6.8 is a light arrow at 29 in.

Might be the best index release on the market... Very easy to produce a surprise release every time for me.

Might be the worst release on the market. After several hundred arrows the hook stopped locking in place when cocked. And when it decided to work again there was movement in the hook causing premature releases and me punching myself in the face. An expensive piece of junk is all this release is.

@@noelbush6284 Sounds like you got one that slipped thru quality control. Ive not heard a negative thing from anyone else. Anytime anything is produced in large quantity there will be a few that dont work properly. Im sure Scott would take care of you...

    $200.00 for a rubber band-assiated arrow release for a 2k bow??
    Are they sniffing glue???

I think he is wrong about the rubber band.
