Bulova Mil Ships Watch model 98A266 from Bulova Archive Series. This sport watch was inspired by a timepiece developed for the U.S. Navy, and it has a unique paper strip on the dial that indicates if moisture has entered the watch, it will change color if water resistance starts to fail. Operated by automatic movement. Stainless steel case with grey NATO band. Black color dial with large luminous markers. 200 meters water resistant.

Very bold move by Bulova bringing back this special diver. Sure it has its quirks but those are all the design ques of the original proposed timepiece. IMO they did a phenomenal job. Thanks for the great review.

the lug width is disproportionate to the case and the strap materiel is like trying on a watch w/ dental floss, definitely a miss in my book. gives me poor man black bay 58 vibes

maybe the look can be extended by 18mm NATO strap :-)
@@milaweitz I took a 20mm Tropic and cut 2mm notches on each side, it fits perfectly in-between the lugs (20mm-4mm=16mm . Look at a stock SKX rubber strap and you will see the notches. You can do the same, this watch looks great on a 20mm Tropic.
