I have both these speakers and the Flip 6 is definitely the best sounding of the 2. But...the Wonderboom 3 is a lot more compact so it's not exactly a fair fight. For it's size the Wonderboom 3 is also very good but for sound quality it's a win for the Flip 6.
@brooksfire9580 yep. I covered the release of the new wonderboom 4 and their other new speakers in this video here -> th-cam.com/video/vjBCgobEJrE/w-d-xo.html
thanks for the info! I didn't know that usb-c ports were waterproof, but now it makes sense why thery're visible on the outside of every device. I remember old ass cell phones of mine (prolly 15+ years ago) having the same micro usb port and, now that I think about it, the only thing I own that still uses one is my speaker. heck, I also happen to have the last iPhone with a lightning port instead of usb-c, so I guess it's an unintentional trend of mine haha
ı have two flip 6 total 60w rms and very very spacious sound.soundstage 10/10 bass is x2.money same ı prefer jbl.ı use double wonderboom 3.sound is louder but bass is not enough wb3 down up to 90 hz low frequency it is not enough.only clean and louder.jbl pro sound is different think
Wonderboom 3 uses the old micro-USB tech and has less bass (a wee bit clearer highs, though).
Flip 6 it is for me.

Found the WB 3 for $35 , taking it
Nice!
where? confess! thanks
wonderboom 3 still uses micro usb. big deal breaker.
wonderboom 4 was just released. It uses a usb-c. Now no longer a deal-breaker.

I use a tiny usb c to micro usb adaptor I bought for a couple of quid off Amazon which makes this less painful.
Wonderboom 4 is out and has usb-c port
Yep. I’ve got a video coming out shortly about the entire new range of UE speakers that just got released.
Just ordered 2 UE wonderboom 4s from prime day on sale
@@A10FT200LBPUMA Nice!

It’s definitely taken some companies a really long time to switch to USB-C.
The jbl sounded better for me
You should you shouldn’t compare a smaller speaker like that to a slightly bigger like that compare it to the UE boom 3 or UE boom 4
The flip 6 is the closest alternative that JBL has to the wonderboom 3. I did also do another video comparing the boom 3 to the charge 5.
I think the you ue wonderboom 3 is a little lounder
I prefer the 360 degree sound of the Wonderboom.
UE have now released the WONDERBOOM 4 which now has USB-C. You can check out my review of it here ->
