We answered the question: Will the Ninja NeverDull Knife Sharpener sharpen ANY OLD KNIFE? Check it out here! --> th-cam.com/video/7gU5lqbZfOg/w-d-xo.html
When it comes to the dishwasher, i could care less about thecwater spots but id be cautious over the pins eventually rusting out and/or the grips coming loose.
Having declared my dissatisfaction with this sharpener last night th-cam.com/users/postUgkxDcr-y2Pf6xdnrFHrSP7dl9kpKaCozcSQ I thought about the problem some more. It occurred to me that I might be undoing each attempt at achieving a sharp edge by the repeated attempts. So, I tried to clean up the unsatisfactory result by honing with only positions 3 and 4.Miracle!! A really nicely sharpened chef's knife, more than enough to handle my needs. Admittedly, it did not reach professionally sharpened razor-fineness, but it is now significantly sharper than it was. A bout of breaking down carrots convinced me. So, major apologies to the manufacturer, Amazon, and all happy and potential owners! Follow the directions: don't buy it if you have ceramic blades; and don't overwork your knife blade.
Some dishwashers can retemper the edge with creates a need for more sharpening. Generally the ceramic stone is just to straighten a folded over fine edge. If you take good care of the knives this is all that should ever be needed.

I think the StaySharp is the UK version of the NerverDull! But I’ve been using those knives ever since this video and I love them still! Use them daily and when they start to feel dull, I just give them a quick sharpen and I’m on my way!
What model number is this? It seems like an older generation as it doesn't look like the ones currently being sold by amazon. I'm wondering if there is a big difference between the much higher priced K32012 "premium" set which sells currently for $366 cnd and the K12010C which is currently selling for $189 on amazon. But I will say one thing. I recently purchased a Ninja C30030C Premium frying pan and am extremely satisfied, so I'm looking to by more products under the Ninja brand name.
I saw a video showing that the knife holder is a little bit front-heavy and can easily tip forward so it's recommended to go with the Walnut wood holder which is a little heavier. Any thoughts
Suction cups without the release cups in my experience don't last very long for countertop kitchenware. No idea if Ninjas have them but if the don't I would pass.
Hi!! I still love my set! They are sharp as ever still, and it stays on my countertop full time! It has any knife that I may need, so I almost exclusively use this set!
Cutco is great, they have a lifetime warranty so you can't beat that, and I probably like the handles a little better, BUT when I want those sharpened, I need to ship them to the Cutco headquarters/warehouse in NY, and sometimes that sharpening process takes weeks to get them back. I love that the sharpener is built-in to this knife block so they're always extra sharp, and they're about 1/3 of the cost of Cutco.
@@KennasKitchen I agree 100%, I will say the CUTCO bread knife is better as it has finer teeth and is SHARP. The Ninja bread knife make a LOT of crumbs. Other than that, Ninja all day.
@@KennasKitchenwhy bot learn to sharpen them yourself? It will take much less time than shipping them off and produce a better result than the never dull sharpener
Not speaking for her or anyone else. Most you tubers who want to establish a platform that people can depend on for advice will make that clear at some point of the video. One way or another. Even if they do "get paid" or recieve promotional items it shouldn't automatically rule them out as being biased. There are many that are open, usually promotional, that are honest about their reviews.. many that are not but if you look at their content it's usually pretty easy to figure out. Never go by one opinion.
EVERYTHING I have that's Ninja, I LOVE. Is there better stuff out there? YEP! Can I afford it? Also, YEP! The value, the ease of use and ease of cleaning make ninja great. I have the pots and pans. The newer ones are better than the older ones, loved them both. Those BS commercials where they burn eggs, cheese, and your grandmother pension in a pan then wipe it out? These are like that. Everything rinses out. Sure you still need to wash them because there's still oil and stuff; but NOTHING sticks to them. There are LEGIT videos about the Ninja Creami ($250) vs the Pacojet ($8,000). Unless you're looking for a Michelin star in your kitchen while the kids are running around 10 ft from you, GO NINJA!
EXACT situation with me, plus she can't even cook! I will say, the CUTCO bread knife is WAY better. That's the ONLY Ninja product that's let me down; that one, lonely bread knife.
Please don't sharpen your knife every single time you use it. one pass in that sharpener may be ok but over sharpening or overworking the cutting edge is a thing, especially with sharpeners like that.

The only thing that bothers me is that I bought a set yesterday and suddenly get this video on my recommendations list.
Al Gores been spying on you.

I have several Ninja products in my arsenal so I mean no disrespect... But I cannot imagine any knives replacing my Henckels!
Hey no disrespect taken! I personally have never used a Henckels so I couldn’t compare it 🤷🏻♀️
meh, henckles is basically a common honda in other terms still china . try upgrading to a zwilling pro series ;) now you're sitting in a Lamborghini
Is it worth getting this one over the stay sharp?

I like the Tim McGraw reference she slipped in there.
thank ya :)
What’s the difference between the premium set and the essential set?
There are 5 additional knives I believe, as well as a pair of kitchen shears.

Close to 300 I believe.

Pretty cool 😎
I’m having a hard time believing you swapped out cutco for ninja… are you being paid by ninja?
Usually if they leave links in the description they're being paid. All beit this set is very good.
Don’t get me wrong I like my cutco, but the ninja knives are just as impressive and a fraction of the costs.
