I bought this pan last year and it's the best I've ever used. What's interesting is that I tend to cook with a lot of butter and after I clean it, it still feels slippery. I use it almost daily and it's holding up great.
be aware that the ones at Walmart are not all the "premium" ones. Walmart/Target sell the C100 which is a bit lower quality. They are however still great and well worth the money. I have also seen the Premium (C300) at Walmart sold as individual pans. Walmart/Target does not sell the set of C300 premium.
@@Nanna316 just saw your message. It depends how much you want to invest in cookware. If you have the budget and cook often get the more expensive stuff. As this comment is 2 months late I'm curious, did you end up getting the Ninja Cookware.
I have the complete set and absolutely love them. These pans have to be preheated before and food is added. I’ve had mine for 1 1/2 years and they are still in great shape.
I just purchased the whole set a couple days ago! I tried the no oil egg test and was scared at first. Tried it again with a bit of oil and it worked great. Thanks for giving your take on it!
@@MrTtaakk I still use it all the time and it still works like day one. It's definitely a little different than typical non stick. Cleans up perfectly. I don't use metal on it at all although I believe it's supposed to be safe.
I just bought the ninja premium set. I tried the egg with no oil test. It did not work! I heated the pan up for around 6-7 minutes on medium heat (electric). I tried another time on low to medium heat, and another time on medium to high heat. They all stuck.
Love my Ninja Foodi Neverstick pans. I've had them for 4 months now. Never noticed the 5 year "Life Time Guarantee". I like that it is compatible with Induction stoves.
For the never stick, in an informational video about it they say that to use it properly you have to preheat it. And eventually it reaches a temp zone where food can't stick to it. They also say that it distributes heat more evenly than other pans which you showed with the cheese test
Good review. I got the 11 piece set for 149 at Walmart. Wife and I absolutely love it. We cook our eggs in coconut oil for the good fats and it works great. Had for about a month, and I can already tell they most likely will last the five years they guarantee.
Thank you for this review. I have seen other people do side by side comparison reviews and haven't taken into consideration that it takes longer to heat and other reviewers won't let it preheat which would yield them bad results in return. Love your review on it.
I brought the Never Stick fry pan about 4 months ago($29.99) from Target. This is the best pan I’ve ever fried in. It truly does not stick. I always use oil or butter in my pans for eggs or pancakes. Not with this pan. My grandson loves pancakes and I make them in my pan. Perfect all the time. No oil, no butter. About to buy the whole set now.
One thing to keep in mind is that because different materials and thicknesses in materials, its possible that one pan might heat up quicker than another. So a timed test is not always effective and could be why the hex clad one burned so much faster.
@Adam7986 - You are absolutely correct. The same heat/timed test is not effective when comparing two pans of differing material/weights. When searing, the pan that heats up the quickest will form a crust and release what you are searing quicker, which is why the shrimp stuck more to the Ninja verse the Granite Rock. This is also the rationale behind the cheese burning in the hexclad verse not burning in the ninja. For pans that conduct heat better, you have to learn how to cook at lower temps to get the same results. I've been cooking with the Hexclad for years now and absolutely love them but the Ninja NeverStick in my opinion is a very close, cost effective, second. HexClad's are built to last on average 20-30 years verses the 5 years for most traditional non-stick pans. This is why Hexclad's are so much more expensive. Also, not sure why most reviewers always do the egg challenge without seasoning the pans first. Most cookware states that in addition to intially washing pans in hot soapy water and drying, you should season them before begining to cook with them for the first time. If this were the case, the egg whould have slide around in the Hexclad with no problem.
My exact thoughts. He says it’s states it takes longer to heat … but he still gives them the same amount of time. Of course the others burned, lol they heat up quicker and were burning. Doesn’t really make it a fair comparison.
I love this! I was just asking you to review these lol! Guess it was already in the works! Edit-I think you're supposed to preheat the empty pan for a few minutes on medium heat before tossing food in. This is how to get maximum non-stick abilities
We bought the 8" pan as a cheaper test to see how well the pans worked and were very happy with the performance. Was going to wait for your review to see the comparison before buying more, but we ended up buying more pans a couple days ago anyway. Have a set of 5 now, couldn't wait any longer.
@@biancajingles2690 we bought them individually off Amazon since we didn't need duplicates of some lesser used pots. Less than $200. Target and other retailers have better deals for sets if you need everything in them.
@@insanegammer109 I bought one from Amazon and two others from Walmart. Not what I would consider super expensive, but not as cheap as some of the budget non-stick. Was using a T-Fal which lasted several years before the coating began to chip off and I could not heat it on high like I can the Ninja pans. Not bad considering it was half the cost of the Ninja.
I bought the Granite Pro set after your review. They are without question the best non stick pans I have ever owned. If they ever wear out I may consider the Ninja but that may take quite a while. I must add that I use a Nu Wave induction cooktop which is far more precise than any other heat source so they are never overheated or charred. They are still just like new. That brings to mind another suggestion I have made a couple of times, a review of the Nu Wave Pic Gold induction cooktop and comparison with gas (we don’t have gas here). I only use my electric stove if I need a 2nd burner.
I have had this pan for 2 years now. I purchased it after your review. It has done very well up until now. The pan started sticking a bit recently. I have abused this pan though over the last 2 years. We use it almost every day for breakfasts and dinners.
Somewhere in fine print on those nonstick pans it still says you got to spray it or add butter to the pan so it doesn't stick I'm telling you those things are just marketing ,
I am enjoying this head to head, pan for pan competition. Despite being a stainless steel pan only house, I found this review quite fascinating. It isn't the best 'non'stick pan you have ever reviewed, but this is likely still a solid B pan. I wonder how it will last. I think that is where the true test will be. Some of the others delivered out the gate, but fell off noticably over time and use. I wonder if the Ninja will just keep being a B level pan and if that is the case, the longevity of it could be more consistent over the long haul. I am intrigued.
I just bought three of the Ninja's the 8, 10 - 1/4 and 12 inch fry pans and they are hands down the best non stick pans I've ever owned. I fried steaks in the pan with no oil or butter and there was no stick what so ever.
Not sure if you've ever reviewed it but Flavourstone are the best pans I've ever used. I've had mine for 10 years and only had to replace one pan because I had a housemate that used metal utensils in it. Nothing sticks or burns in them. I have the original sapphire but I think they do diamond now.
Just an FYI. One of the front burners on gas ranges is a super burner. It uses more BTU’s and cooks faster even tho it may look the same size. Could be why one pan was cooking faster then the other.
I love my Ninja Foodie pots n pans. If you wants eggs that don't stick, preheat the pan very well. I make scrambled eggs daily for my granddaughter and it works beautifully!
There is no such thing as a true lifetime warranty unless you're talking about a Zippo Lighter. Zippo is the only company that gives a true lifetime warranty on their products with absolutely no questions asked.
This is the video that made me go get my own GraniteStone. I’ve watched a lot of the pan reviews and I’ve wanted a GraniteStone for a while but after this I watched the original review for it and I went and bought one the next time I was at the store
I bought the Ninja 10 pc. set about two years ago, and I have loved this cookware....I have used many different pans including via working in a professional kitchen. When I examined the cookware in my local BBAB showroom, I was very impressed with the design and construction, as it compared to other brands....even All-Clad (Granted, The All-Clad available there probably wasn't its top line)....I had read and continued to read many reviews, from both regular Joe home cooks and professional articles, and in one article I read, the author stated that "it was like cast iron and non-stick had a baby!".....I immediately identified with this thought! Yes, they DO take a bit to heat up, but once they get going, they REALLY get going....and I have never experience any hot spots.....VERY even cooking! That being said, I have experienced a negative, in my particular case: After about two years of pretty heavy use, I discovered that the non-stick coating was "bubbling" up on the bottom of the 1.5 and 2.5 qt. sauce pans....but ONLY those two pieces.....and I don't believe this is from any abuse, on my part. However, I have never noticed any particles releasing onto my food or any blatant bare spots in the pan...for whatever that's worth. Sadly, it appears that I never registered my cookware (I checked on the website) so I probably don't have a leg to stand on....but I did message NINJA Kitchens via their Facebook page the other day, and am currently awaiting a response...so we'll see. Note: Unless it's a fatty cut or type of meat, I NEARLY always use some sort of fat (oil, butter...often both) to cook with, even in a "non-stick" pan....I find it cooks better and gives it a base flavor. *BTW....there is a 3 qt. high-sided sauté pan that comes with a lid in the set, and the lid DOES fit on that fry pan, as well.....and you can purchase that pan separately.
After watching the infomercial I did some research then bought the 11 piece set on sale at Kohl’s for between $100-150 ( it was a while ago). I love it. Enjoyed your review. My advice is to clean while it’s still warm. Comes clean with a paper towel.
I bought the big premium set about 6 months ago and still love this set. I’m very surprised how how well they have held up so far. Same as day 1. Though I never put them in dishwasher.

If he would of fried bologna and did a cleaning test, it most likely wouldn't of cleaned nicely without heavy scrubbing and ruining finish (been there n done that)! Bought so many non-stick over my years, n just ditched em. Last week I went and got a 3.6 enameled cast iron Lodge casserole (TJ Maxx sold it for $43 including tax, but Walmart has em for $30 extra though) Works perfect like a skillet (n comes with a lid) and oven safe. Bonus: fits totally in my toaster oven. Never ever going non-stick again....but glad he did this review. Always wondered what it was all about. So folks, buy that lodge above mentioned. With their true life time warranty (n no, no shady small printed 5 years) it will last and save ya $money$ not constantly buying shady non-stick items. Hope this helps ya all n blessings
Your first test with the eggs was a dramatic fail IMO. And FWIW my seasoned cast iron pans work as well under normal cooking as any non stick. Thanks for the review.
I bought this pan with the 20% off coupon at Bed Bath and Beyond for around $35. After a few months of use I'd say its the best non stick pan I've ever had, the surface hasn't worn out and I dont feel like I have to be super gentle to avoid dinging it up. In my opinion it well worth the full MSRP and a great buy if you can get a coupon.
Bought the 8 and 10inch pan from BB&B yesterday....will probably continue to piece together the rest of the set to replace our older ones....Thanks for confirming my decision.
I've been looking at pans for a while now and 50 bucks seems to be standard for a good, thick pan. You can by ones for cheaper, but they're usually alluminum.
I’m a huge fan of ninja. I have the 12”, 8”, 8qt pressure, foodi grill xl, hot and cold brew station, The auto IQ blender, and their first ever blender. The only thing I don’t like are the lids for the pans, they have already broken seal and liquid gets between the glass and the rim. Other than that, I love all their products. And yes, the pan is absolutely amazing.
Been waiting for this, but I wish you had replicated more of the demos shown in the infomercial. Also, I'd love to see your take on the Copper Chef Titan Pan hawked by Jet Tila.

He loved cooking his eggs in the never stick pan. Plus they are easy to clean too. Again, thank you so much for your reviews, they are very useful. Happy holidays to you and your family!
Mom and I just recently treated ourselves to some Calphalon non-stick pans (was a set in a box, about $200 overall)... Was so worth it; clean with great ease and even making things like pancakes (we use Bisquick mix) works great with no butter or oil. Best part is each pan has a lid, some with built-in drainers/strainers (obviously need to hold the lid on for that, but they work great!).
@@camerongirgus7680 Brand of pans. Deff worth it if you can find the box set with 2 sauce pans, 3 frying pans, lids, (and more, depending which box set you get)....!
@@camerongirgus7680 Oh as well, sorry sidenote, comes with 2 pasta-style pans. One is much better for boiling and doing pasta, the other not as much but works great for side noodles. Both have the built-in drainer.
You get what you pay for. I always balked at the price of Le Creueset, but I finally bought a saucepan with a saute pan that also doubled as a lid for the saucepan. I am always amazed at how easily those things clean up. And they will last forever.
The Ninja Foodi Neverstick is one of the few nonstick pans I've seen where pre-seasoning is recommended. I followed Ninja's pre-seasoning instructions and wasn't disappointed. Eggs slid right off, as advertised, and everything else is easily cleaned. I'm impressed.
The method I used was to heat the pan over medium heat for about 30-60 seconds. Then I massaged the surface with a folded paper towel dipped in canola oil. At that point I took the pan off the heat, let it cool, then gently rubbed it with another dry paper towel, removing the excess oil out of it. It seemed to work.
not only does it work incredibly well but using the 12" pan making full size pancake it was amazing how even it was across the entire plate sized pancake and this was done on induction cooktop. !!

I bought this pan last year and it's the best I've ever used. What's interesting is that I tend to cook with a lot of butter and after I clean it, it still feels slippery. I use it almost daily and it's holding up great.
Are you still using it and has it held up?
@Colt Lee it's still holding up, no chipping or anything. I switched back to stainless steel so I'm not using it as often though.
I work at walmart and stock this pan all the time. Every time I see it all I think is I wonder when you will do a review on it amd now here we are.
be aware that the ones at Walmart are not all the "premium" ones. Walmart/Target sell the C100 which is a bit lower quality. They are however still great and well worth the money. I have also seen the Premium (C300) at Walmart sold as individual pans. Walmart/Target does not sell the set of C300 premium.

Really liked the multiple tests you did. Definitely a complete review with real use examples. Nice job.
I just purchased the whole set a couple days ago! I tried the no oil egg test and was scared at first. Tried it again with a bit of oil and it worked great. Thanks for giving your take on it!

Also, is it Metal Utensils safe?

I just bought the ninja premium set. I tried the egg with no oil test. It did not work! I heated the pan up for around 6-7 minutes on medium heat (electric). I tried another time on low to medium heat, and another time on medium to high heat. They all stuck.

@@daveshereduh I registered it at the ninja website listed on the packaging. Love mine so far. It's also heavier than I thought it'd be
For the never stick, in an informational video about it they say that to use it properly you have to preheat it. And eventually it reaches a temp zone where food can't stick to it.
They also say that it distributes heat more evenly than other pans which you showed with the cheese test
Ya definitely have to heat well before cooking.
I fry eggs without oil all the time on ours….
Good review. I got the 11 piece set for 149 at Walmart. Wife and I absolutely love it. We cook our eggs in coconut oil for the good fats and it works great. Had for about a month, and I can already tell they most likely will last the five years they guarantee.
5 years...LOL My cast iron pans are 60 + years old passed down from Grams. Non stick pans are a joke.....the landfill is full of this junk.
@@kennyc388 well cast iron are just a whole nothing breed compare to the stuff they make now.
IMO Oxo makes the best non stick skillet
Heats evenly and nonstick properties are stellar. Good longevity for a nonstick as well
I didn't realize OXO made pans. (Rethinking my support of the company as most of my kitchen tools are OXO)
It seemed to perform well; I am always impressed how you risk your pans by pushing them to the limit. I wish it came with a lid.

Still keeping my cast iron pan. USA made, less expensive, and good for a REAL lifetime (not 5 years...)
Same here.
Often 2 or 3 lifetimes!
I’m skeptical of any pan with a coating !! Sure stainless steel is hard to use but you don’t need to worry about it causing health issues.

Thank you for taking the time to compare products, I must say, I got the answers I needed. Thank you.
I love this! I was just asking you to review these lol! Guess it was already in the works!
Edit-I think you're supposed to preheat the empty pan for a few minutes on medium heat before tossing food in. This is how to get maximum non-stick abilities
Also, eggs should be room temp for optimum nonstick.
The poi t is paying a high price for a pan, what is not made here.
Omg!! These R the best pans ever. Buy them. You won't be disappointed. My hubby and I are still in shock on how wonderful they are.
We bought the 8" pan as a cheaper test to see how well the pans worked and were very happy with the performance. Was going to wait for your review to see the comparison before buying more, but we ended up buying more pans a couple days ago anyway. Have a set of 5 now, couldn't wait any longer.

@@insanegammer109 thanks for the info!
I got three of the 10 1/4 pans for $20 a piece from my target, what a deal.
I always love it when Freakin Reviews reviews a pan. There's something entertaining and comforting about seeing him cook food.
The real question is where he stores all of the pans and other products he gets when he’s done with them.
Somewhere in fine print on those nonstick pans it still says you got to spray it or add butter to the pan so it doesn't stick I'm telling you those things are just marketing ,
I appreciate this test. I just bought the entire set of Ninja pots/pans and was pretty impressed. Especially with eggs.
Thank you for the thorough review. I was not expecting to watch all 20+ mins but you were very engaging.
I just bought three of the Ninja's the 8, 10 - 1/4 and 12 inch fry pans and they are hands down the best non stick pans I've ever owned. I fried steaks in the pan with no oil or butter and there was no stick what so ever.
Contemplating on purchasing the Ninja Foodi pans. Glad I came across this review.
Thanks.

Not sure if you've ever reviewed it but Flavourstone are the best pans I've ever used. I've had mine for 10 years and only had to replace one pan because I had a housemate that used metal utensils in it. Nothing sticks or burns in them. I have the original sapphire but I think they do diamond now.
I purchased the Ninja neverstick 11 piece set over a year ago. I LOVE them!!!
Just an FYI. One of the front burners on gas ranges is a super burner. It uses more BTU’s and cooks faster even tho it may look the same size. Could be why one pan was cooking faster then the other.
The never stick says it may take longer to heat which is why also the cheese test wasnt done 100% properly
I love my Ninja Foodie pots n pans. If you wants eggs that don't stick, preheat the pan very well. I make scrambled eggs daily for my granddaughter and it works beautifully!

I hope you ate that crispy cheese! One of my favorite snacks!!

Hey, how do you season it?
The method I used was to heat the pan over medium heat for about 30-60 seconds. Then I massaged the surface with a folded paper towel dipped in canola oil. At that point I took the pan off the heat, let it cool, then gently rubbed it with another dry paper towel, removing the excess oil out of it. It seemed to work.
