Maxim Tsigalko was real. He was one of the best players on Championship Manager 01/02. An absolute icon of the game. Sadly, he died on Christmas day last year at 37.

Also, it's surprising to see Juve would have taken over in Italy this quickly, as Milan were simply unstoppable irl. But this is why we love our alternate histories :)

Wheres Diego Armando Maradona? CM2 (1995) THE BEST PLAYER EVER!! I still remember him playing nr. 10 role just behind my strikers, scoring 71 goals and giving 52 assists (corners, free kicks). Him alongside with Baggio, Albertini and Paul Gascoigne it was SUPERB!!!
Darrius Vassell was one of England's best players at the 2002 World Cup. Inconsistent and went off the boil later on. But at one time, he was a very good player

Kelvin Wilson is a real footballer! He actually played centre back in Celtic’s famous win against Barcelona! He’s from my city of Nottingham and still plays lower league football, a friend of mine played against him at Ilkeston Town not too long ago

Arjen Robben, Mesut Ozil, Tim Krul and Luis Suarez as well. QPR have a star-studded squad in that universe. Absolutely brilliant. I wish this had happened IRL. Come on you R's! Robbie Fowler and Redknapp joining Forest wouldn’t have been unrealistic had Forest not got relegated in 1991 IRL. People forget how big of a club Nottingham Forest were from the late 70’s even into the late 90’s. League and European cup winners.

One of the reasons I wish we could rewind is because Junior Malanda died. I remember earlier that year I signed him in a FIFA career mode and he was so good. He got up to a 90 and was one of my best players, I always wanted to look out for him in his career. I hoped he would become a superstar. It’s still so awful that he passed I wish we rewind time.
I wish I could be transported back to 1991. David Rocastle - very sadly passed away so young. The Arsenal squad emphasised that. We had him on loan at Norwich City for a short period.
